I know there is another thread for displaying pics of framed items that aren't posters, but I can't find it so I thought I'd put this here.
Hobby Lobby...8x8 frame with uv glass. Sticker/pin window is like a shadow box. The photo I took myself at this show and just trimmed it down to fit. Frame was ready made and 50 percent off and I used a 40 percent off coupon on the glass and used another 40 percent off coupon on the matte.
Total cost for everything was 24 dollars. If I'd just kept the glass in it that came with the frame it would have cost 18 dollars total.
Do you have a link to this item online? I can't seem to find it. I think it would be great to display my Fenway patches!
Never posted a pic hopefully this works. Not a poster but gift I gave to my best man at my wedding a few years ago.

Had to re-arrange some posters to get the wall space for my Columbia print.
Kinda crazy how the color on Jeff's pick match the mat/print/ticket stub.
How did your framer fasten picks inside frame? Glue? Tape? Sitting there? Just curious as I'm looking to add some picks to one of my posters.

They used a special kind of double sided tape used for photographs and scrapbooking. I think it's called archival mounting tape or something fancy like that.
I'm sure plenty of others have done this too for other pins but I wanted to share some new fridge magnets I made from Pearl Jam pins. (Hopefully I uploaded the picture correctly but this was my first time doing it so probably not).
Anyone have any suggestions on where to find a frame for the long Philly night 1 poster? It's an odd size.
It's 12x30, should be able to find a cheap frame at amazon or the bay. If all you want is just to frame it, no matting. Just keep the frame rabbet depth to something like in the pic below 3/8.

Amazon, goodcall. Never think of Amazon for frames. Thanks

Not a problem, anytime. Not all posters need the full all out big $$$ frame job, IMO. I had three that I just wanted to frame, got three frames for right around $100 shipped on Amazon. Cheaper then anyplace local to me. I just went and bought some acid free foam core board locally. I could have used the cardboard backing that came with the frame, but since they'll be in the frames for a long time, I figured it would be better then the cardboard backing.

Yep....And if used correctly it rocks....I have only done it with one print so far, not a PJ print but I love it:

Did anybody frame the EMEK philly 2016 print with a blue matte?
I did, it's like a navy blue to match the back of the inside of the door they're standing in. I like it a lot. The lady at hobby lobby who was actually very good, initially had it double matted with an orange matte under the blue. I decided against it to save some cash, but it looked great.
How do you guys flatten your posters? I have a portfolio book where I keep them but the ends still sightly curl. I tried putting one in a tight frame for a few months and afterwards it still wasn't totally flat.
As usual, the recent custom framing samples all look terrific. There are two different and great examples of framing jobs done using the cancelled show's artwork on page 284 and page 285. How were you guys/girls able to get your ticket stubs signed by all the band members?

You need to get it out of the tube asap
^^^THIS^^^ Once it's out of the tube... let it rest on the table for a day or two. If your poster hasn't been in a tube long, it should start to flatten a little on it's own. Place a piece of kraft paper on the table and gently unroll the poster. I usually start flattening my posters by putting the poster face down on top of the kraft paper, and placing a few print weights on the back. These weights don't have to be on the corners... I place them where the "rolls" are the most prominent, this helps get the poster nice and flat! Let the poster sit overnight with the weights in place. The next morning, turn it over and put the weights on the front side of the poster. Repeat this cycle until the poster is flat !!

What do you guys use to keep them flat and store them for the short term...until I get the cash to frame one? I don't need a portfolio or anything, because I do plan on framing them within weeks/months. Anything cheap just to keep them flat and protected?

The band signed some of the tickets when Ten Club members wrote in asking for their unused tickets from the cancelled Raleigh show. It was all 'luck-o-the-draw'...

For short term storage or larger format prints... I use one of the foam core display boards:
