    Looks great! How many mats is that? 8?
    I have this poster too. I like it & would like to eventually frame it. I wonder why it doesn't seem to be very well received by the fans. I know, "to each their own". :)

    I think it's four mats. Each one is black with an accent color.

    Yeah, this one and San Diego were my favorites from 2013.

    Fine, I guess that Pittsburgh poster is OK, too.

    The black mattes with the colored cores are my favorites!!
    I use them on all of the posters from the shows that I attend...
    it really is like getting a BONUS matte thrown in for free!!

    I can't find black with colored core matting anywhere. Any idea of brand name or where I can find it?

    It's right above her paper bag monsters. It was hard not to include those in the photos.

    I'm ASSuming that if you are using those mats that they are the archival/acid free type mats. Is that correct?

    Hey Cory you can still pick them up thru the Emek site $100 & shipping. I got one a couple of months the ago. Such a beautiful poster...and it's hard to believe but it's even more beautiful when you see it for real!!!!!

    My camera is busted, so this fuzzy phone picture is the best I've got... it doesn't do it just at all... I really really love this one... and it's HUGE!

    Just scored my holy grail - the Charlotte '96. Starting to think about framing it and have no clue where to head with it style-wise. Anybody have any ideas for what might look good/complement this poster? The colors are so bold and bright that I can't even figure out a color to use for the mat for fear of detracting from the poster itself. Thanks in advance for any thoughts!

    I'd go with multiple black mats with colored cores. See Dankind's post above for his 2013 Worcester poster. That way you could work with your framer & pull out the colors from the poster that you want to. And I agree...I think color mats would be to much with this poster. And that is one of the best of EMEK's work...

    This is what I have done with almost all of my prints. They all are black with color core. Love the way it looks. Sometimes we use 2 mats, sometimes add another solid color mat, but always with colored cores.
