Agreed...I need to get me one of those!
Regarding your framed MSG Night II poster, can you tell how much that one cost to frame? Thanks!

Sry, but I disagree...Thats how much a good frame job costs... Theres a difference between throwing a frame on a poster and having it done the right way.....

Anyone can do it..just have to try and once you do you wont go back. No one said throw the frame on it...just buy the materials from local shop and DIY. Framers these days are taking advantage of poster collectors. They buy the stuff for $50 it takes them 15minutes to do they make you wait a week so you think it takes a long time and then their like $200..come on...

Yeah , but I would rather pay the extra 50 bucks and put it into the hands of someone who has been framing for 20 + yrs. Plus, it'll keep these mom and pop frame shops afloat. Its good for the economy !!

I'll go learn the craft first before I take that advice and go take a class or some shit!...until then I leave it to the experts.

    OHHHH...stockbroker

When you want your poster framed and don't want to not spend $200 you go to your local frame supplier and DIY.. touché

You obviously could DIY and have it come out nice

But there are many things I am not positive about like acid free backing, no glue mounting, properly measuring everything.

I havent framed most of my posters, but the few I did cost at least 100 bucks each, could I have done it myself for 50? sure. but for 100 it is perfect, I didnt have to figure it out myself, i didnt spend alot of my time on it, and if I ever need to resell it(knocks on wood) I know it is in mint condition.

I may just do that...for a few of my daughter's posters of course: Shrek the Third, Madagascar, Disney on Ice.

They look great...and as for $200 being expensive to some people that's fine. I have no desire to learn how to frame......IMO $200 is a small price for something to last a lifetime on your wall and be considered art and a conversation piece.
