I bet it will be the 97 Christmas single most people end up remembering 30 years from now. More than likely.

    I agree.

Yes PJ will always be remembered for Ten but I think that Yield should be the album they are remembered for!

I always get a little pissed when i realize that a large amount of people only know about Pearl Jam because of Ten, then I remember this:

Ten. It's a bit unfortunate, but it's just the way it is.
But you could think of it this way- we're the lucky ones who realize that they should be famous for their wide breadth of incredible work, not only the album that broke them onto the scene.

Ten is a good album, I don't know why 10C members always seem to put it down. :(

either because they think it's cool not to like the popular album or they were wee lil babies when it came out and they don't realize it's significance...

I agree, there isn't a bad song on it. Just because its what most casual fans are most familiar with, doesn't mean it's not their best work.

Or we realize PJ has put out much better stuff now.

I was 18 when it came out. Saw PJ in concert starting in 93.

Why do some 10c member think it's not possible to not think 10 is their greatest.

They were so fucking inspired around the 10 era, they had songs coming out the ass. Look at tunes that didn't even make the record (ledbetter, solat, breath, alone, wash, footsteps, hard to imagine) the list goes on!

Very true! Extra point goes to TEN for the awsome awsome b-sides!!

Ten will always be THE pearl jam album and I have no problem accepting that fact. Along with nevermind, ten caught a whole world off guard and wrote music history! No point in arguing with that:)

I know this isn't relevant as an arguement, but ten's total sale figure is rivalling the sale figure for all the other albums combined! Pretty heavy..
