I've got a block of 10 rooms for April 12 and 13. We can add rooms if needed. And, if you need a room for April 11, please let me know, as there are a couple of people who need the extra night.
Also, if you are travelling solo would like to share a room with someone, let me know and I'll try and arrange it.
DOUBLE BED $95+tax/night
This is what I was talking about.. I forgot to "Quote" it..
If you are interested in booking with the group at the Ramada on Wilshire , all you need to do is call 213-736-5222 and tell them that there is a block of rooms under JANET MIHALIC for April 12 and 13. They will take your info and get you set up. You can also call me at 310-365-1989 if you'd like me to do it for you or if you have any questions/comments.
If there are enough people interested in the 11th--10 rooms minimum, we should be able get that night at the group rate too.

Here's the thing though. For you people coming from so far away... why stay at a cheap hotel to save like $100? You're already spending so much flying out here, right? Why not stay somewhere kind of nicer? And remember, you get like $2 for a Euro now. It's like play money for you Europeans.
But I guess that's just me... I just want everyone's LA experience to be the best it can be.
I just spent three weeks in Europe getting sodomized by the Euro. You Europeans should be able to rock it out here in L.A. Go with the W in Westwood or the Standard in Hollywood! Do it right! You only live once. If you seriously wanna rock it out do the Hollywood Roosevelt.
Euro is not the only money in Europe, and I don't give a fuck at the standard class of my hotel, I am staying just to sleep, don't care about a view on a mc donald or a taco bell the same shit anyway, and I still looking for a ticket for the LA 1
Fair enough. But those Swiss Francs can buy discount dollars too. Just trying to help. Enjoy your view!

Just booked the Hyatt on Priceline for $ 140 a night. Rather than stay on Wilshire we decided to try for a Beverly Hills hotel and maximize our LA experience. I tried for a 4 star in Beverly. I'm a little disappointed- I was hoping for something on Sunset, but this is what we got. Anyone know anything about this hotel?

Go to http://www.tripadvisor.com and look it up, you'll likely get plenty of info on it. I use this site all the time when I go away. Good price for a Hyatt.

Its is a posh place...near Century City Shopping Mall (outdoors, pretty high-end). It is close to Beverly Hills, not far from Santa Monica, and, if you are relying on Public transportation, the bus stops are pretty close, and the bus to go to the Wiltern is a short walk.
I'm booked as well...for the 11th, 12th, and 13th! Who else is coming in a day early?

I live right near the Century City mall and done know a Hyatt around here. If you found a Hyatt near Century City you cant go wrong. Your in a great part of town. 5 minutes from Beverly Hills. 10 minutes to Hollywood. 15 minutes to the beach. You will be good. Buses suck here. I highly recommend cabbing it to the shows and up and around Hollywood in the evening. Distances aren't so far if you are staying in West LA. 20 minutes to the Wiltern.
if anyone is getting to LA earlier in the week, bruce and the ESB is playing in Anaheim on 4/7 and 4/8.
also, eddie has an off day on 4/4 while bruce plays sacramento. eddie plays santa cruz the next night so they will be pretty close. seems possible.
