yeah, House. You could use a little more power. Too bad Mazerati's are so expensive.

Hopefully my new cat won't attack any of my gear...

I am excited about him though...

He will learn to like rock music too.

    Nice.

I have inquired with Dr. Z about the possibility of a Ghia in a 212 combo... if I am custom ordering I may as well get it with the blue speakers...

a Ghia 112 with a Vox Blue would run about $1400... a 212 with the blues about $1750...

I could just save my pennies for that. I would actually need about $600 to cover the trade difference on my current setup.

pretty fair price... especially for a blackface...

perhaps an A/B rig would work well. Find an old bandmaster or twin for the clean side of things.

Right. Actually a bandmaster is probably a good choice.

Have you considered perhaps an Orange AD 30? Used is probably in your price range. 4 EL-84's.

I had an offer to trade my SG for an Orange AD30 Twin Channel...

I like that amp, but not more than the Ghia.

or more than the SG for that matter.

    Alright,

I have about $150 in my paypal account from the sale of a guitar neck on ebay.

So, should I get a tremolo pedal or perhaps a booster of some kind...

    what do you think?

What can I get in that price range?

That, or I could get a nice hardshell case for my tele...

    Ideas?

http://www.analogman.com look up the boss tremolo or the voodoo lab trem. It's probably cheaper, and it's awesome.

I'd get a micro vibe or an EH Wiggler, because that's my thing.

i checked those out last time you mentioned them but it's honestly not my thing. the fender blackface is already aesthetically perfect.

it's so tempting. if i let go of my desire for a digital piano and just settled for renting one, i could buy the vibro-champ. it'll go for $400US for sure.

    i can rent a digital piano for $40US a month. i can't rent a minty vibro champ.

i the only other one i've heard as many good things about is the guyatone tube driven tremolo. out of the price range though but not by much. the voodoo lab is an opto-tremolo though. not tube but very nice.

Menatone pleasure trem 5000. If you don't like it, toss it to the girlfriend.

I could get a wiggler... sounds like it might be a good option... vibrato and tremolo... I certainly like the holy grail reverb...

Do any of you use this unit? Have experience with it?

I lusted for a wiggler for a while unfortunately I am still waiting for my strat and thus saving that money for a captain coconut 2.

The Wiggler is badass. Quirky like all EH effects but most people say it's pretty reliable. I like it alot. You really can't beat the sound tubes give you.

Here is a great guitar... I love the goldtop.

I could pick this up, sell my SG... come away with a little bit of cash.

looks cool. hopefully you don't mean that particular example since it looks like the neck is going to fly off at any minute.
