Anyone know if the initial sale / 10c is gonna utilize 10c # for seat allocation?

I’m guessing prob not, the way that’s been going as of late with pj shows

Initial 10C announcement said no. None of this managed by 10C.

No chance.  First of all they never do that for EV solo.  Secondly, 10c didn’t sell the tickets but only gave a code that allowed purchases from the Japanese ticket company.  The code was not individualized so they wouldn’t have a way of doing seat by 10c seniority even if they wanted to.

For those going or have been to Japan, what enticed you to one city over another or if you only could choose one, where would you recommend.  If I do decide to go I will be going solo, I have no issues travelling alone but in this case English is my only spoken and written language and I have fears of getting on the wrong train or getting turned around and finding myself lost.  Although I tend to overthink things sometimes and I have been told that everyone is friendly and they like to practice their English plus I know there are plenty of translation apps and eSIM readily available for your phone.

The last time I looked there were still international tickets available for Osaka, Kyoto and Tokyo.  I was thinking Tokyo, as a big city it may be geared a little more towards tourists, but it's also a big city and more ways for me to get lost ;)

I weighed the Ohana option (making assumptions on that one) and financially it is much easier to swing Japan this year.  I welcome ideas, thoughts, words of wisdom, encouragement or even discouragement (if well justified).

It all depends on what you are looking for, the city itself, the EV show or a combo?  The venues has different capacities, Nagoya and Kyoto around 2000, Osaka 2700 and Tokyo 8000.   My thoughts was: it’s a once in a lifetime to se EV at a 2000 capacity venue.  If I should choose one, I’ll go for Kyoto.  It’s the first capital of Japan and lots of stuff to se there. But Kyoto don’t have an airport, that’s in Osaka so do both of those 😉
So once in a lifetime, or three times in four nights!
