Agreed on Oasis, their early catalogue is exceptional. Their shows last year had setlists of classic track after classic track, and still several were missing. The crowds were insane. For me they were the story of 2025.mcgruff10 said:

Nothing wrong with their late-era catalogue either. A lot of interesting and less worn-out stuff there. Standing on the Shoulders is amazing sonically with some great songs.pdalowsky said:

On a side note, I happened to catch Black Christmas while flipping channels a couple months ago and enjoyed it. Pearl Jam fans are buzzing with speculation about who will step in behind the drum kit following Matt Cameron’s departure from the band earlier last year. After 27 years with Pearl Jam, Cameron announced his decision to leave, marking the end of a major era for the Seattle rock group. While the band has yet to officially name a replacement, recent activity on social media has fueled rumors that Jane’s Addiction drummer Stephen Perkins could be next in line.
The speculation gained traction after Perkins shared an Instagram post celebrating Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder’s birthday on Dec. 23. Alongside a photo of himself with Vedder, Perkins wrote, “Happy birthday, Eddie.” Though the message itself was simple, fans were quick to read between the lines.
The comment section soon filled with theories and hopeful reactions from Pearl Jam followers. “Omg are you gonna replace Matt?? As much as that can be possible,” one fan wrote. Another noted, “Second Pearl Jam-related post in less than a couple weeks, huh…. I want to believe.” A third commenter was even more direct, saying, “Stephen Perkins needs to be the next Pearl Jam drummer. Please!”
Perkins’ name circulating in connection with Pearl Jam comes at a time of transition in his own career. Just days earlier, Jane’s Addiction officially announced their disbandment, more than a year after a highly publicized onstage altercation between frontman Perry Farrell and guitarist Dave Navarro during a September 2024 show in Boston.
In a statement shared on Instagram on Dec. 17, Farrell addressed the incident, apologizing “to our patrons and my bandmates for losing my temper and for disrupting the show.” The band later released a joint statement explaining that although they had “come together one last time to resolve our differences,” they ultimately decided not to continue as a group. “We now look forward to the future as we embark on our separate musical and creative endeavors,” the statement read. “Jane’s Addiction will forever live in our hearts.”
For now, neither Pearl Jam nor Stephen Perkins has confirmed any collaboration. Still, with Perkins newly free following Jane’s Addiction’s breakup and fans eager for answers, the possibility of him joining Pearl Jam remains an intriguing—and widely discussed—prospect.

Seems to be having a David A amount of cymbals. Not well versed in drumkits, so don't take my word for it."Mostly I think that people react sensitively because they know you’ve got a point"0
