Did DLR come through and perform well? I was going to go to the show by me, but I still have fond memories of the last VH tour and didn't want to ruin them.DE4173 said:Tyler Bryant - Tulsa - The Vanguard
Mammoth - OKC - Diamond Ballroom
Taylor Hunnicutt - Tulsa - Mercury Lounge
Jerry Cantrell - Tulsa - Brady Theater
Sturgill Simpson - Tulsa - BOK Center
David Lee Roth - Tulsa - Hard Rock
The Beaches - Tulsa - Cain's Ballroom
Poppy - Tulsa - Cain's Ballroom1991- Hollywood Palladium, California with Temple of the Dog, Soundgarden, and Alice in Chains -RIP Magazine Show Oct. 6th
1992- Lollapalooza, Irvine, CaliforniaNothing since then. I suck.
2016- Fenway Park, Boston - Both glorious nights
2022- Oakland Night 2
2024 Sacramento, CA0 -
As a huge VH fan since 1984 came out, I can honestly say he didn't perform well. I had a good idea what we were in for beforehand, so I had a lot of fun and it was good to see him live one. last. time. ❤️😭lexicondevil said:

I LOVED the backup singers as they added much needed vocals to the show and were fun. Some may have thought it as cheesy, but these shows don't happen without them, imo.
Dave was pissed at the sound guy for the first several songs (sounded fine too me🤷♂️) and kept bitching at him during the songs which took the air out of the crowd.
He's 71, looks it, and would never sound like he did back in the day. Told rambling stories that led nowhere and quite a bit of the crowd just sat down from then on lol.
TL:DR - Your fond memories of the last VH tour would've been ruined. 😄😄😄

Awesome. Sounds like it was fun to see, but not necessary. I was really surprised at how good VH sounded on their last tour. That was the one and only time I made it to their show, and it was very satisfying.DE4173 said:

I've pretty much had the same answer for the past 20 plus years.0 -
Thanks! This is the second show I’ve seen there. First was Duff McKagan last year, which was life-changing.tempo_n_groove said:

I’ll be back in February to see Drink The Sea there. Very excited for that show.✌🏼❤️0 -

Was lucky enough to see some great shows in 2025, but some of the standouts were as follows.
Jack White - Toronto Night 2 (saw all 3 but night 2 was my fav)
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds - Toronto
Sessanta - Toronto
BBNO$, Doechii, Tyler the Creator, Glass Animals - Montreal (Osheaga)
Scissor Sisters - Toronto
Sparks - Toronto
Darkness - Kitchener
Alabama Shakes - Toronto
James - Toronto
Modest Mouse / Built to Spill - Toronto

I think my favourite of the year was Jack White at the Commodore in Vancouver.I really enjoyed collective soul's set opening for Our Lady Peace in Victoria. AC/DC in Vancouver was pretty good.0

You saw Doechii? How was she live?ST66483 said:Was lucky enough to see some great shows in 2025, but some of the standouts were as follows.

I love looking at these and seeing the artists people get to witness.0 -
Doechii was really good, just her and a DJ on stage, but so much energy in her performance. It helped that the crowd was massively into it too.0

Top 5:
1. David Byrne -- Atlanta
2. Ringo Starr & Friends -- Nashville N2
3. Billy Strings -- Austin N1
4. Dead & Company -- San Francisco N2
