Doechii was really good, just her and a DJ on stage, but so much energy in her performance. It helped that the crowd was massively into it too.
I'm a fan of her and was wondering how she transformed live.

    TY!

Pearl Jam - Nashville night 1

AJR - Charlotte, NC  - this one was special because it was our son's very first concert and he really LOVES AJR - so it was so awesome watching him watch his favorite band play live.  And I won't lie - their show really made me a fan too, they put on a great live show.

Here is something else I thought I'd never hear.  Someone becoming an AJR fan.

So you liked them?  Cool.  My niece really digs them too.

Ha. I thought I was in the favorite albums of the year thread and was confused by Gaslight Anthem.

I did.  I think 80% of it has to do more with the sentimentality of it though.  He turned 13 in August and is just now starting to develop his own taste and really appreciate music, so to get to take him to his first concert will always be something I'll never forget.  Kind of akin to my wife and daughter bonding through Taylor Swift, I kind of got to bond with him through AJR.

    1. Oasis - Edinburgh: paid well over the odds but worth every penny. Near perfect setlist, band on fire, immense crowd, great spot up front, and I’m so grateful to have been part of the biggest tour the UK has had for a long time. Top 10 gig ever for me.

    2. Neil Young - Dublin: solo trip to Dublin to see Neil for the first time. Not sure what to expect at his age but he was brilliant. Great setlist, lots of hits but also introduced me to some new songs that I now love.

    3. Sam Fender - Newcastle: more for everything that went around it than the actual gig. This was a hometown show for Sam (who’s blown up pretty big in the UK) and  he sold out three night at Newcastle’s football stadium. We’d just won a trophy for the first time in over 50 years and the whole thing turned into a celebration of the city, Sam and the football team. Was great to be there with close family.
