I wonder if I should start worrying that my Large bag still says it's waiting to be received on the ups site.
I wouldn't think so. I mean, wasn't your order the one L that snuck through with the 2x & 3X that Santos made special mention of? So, theoretically, he is aware your order was moved. Right?

^haha, I think so. Mine has said shipped since Oct 27th. But when I click the tracking number it goes to that ups site that says it hasnt been received yet.

Hi, ordered my mystery bag on the 23rd Oct and the order is still sitting on processing. Waiting (sort of) patiently in regional Australia.

Expect it before or after Christmas.
Am exactly the same, in regional Australia too.
From what I remember ordered small size so apparently they’ll be sent out last. Hoping it is soon, as I’ve a terminal illness (date unknown though) so am keen for what will likely be my last ever 10C purchase.
We’ll just have to be more patient I guess.

Thank you kindly, I accepted it quickly. Originally told 6 months left, it’s now almost 12 months since diagnosis. If I can get to 70 in January I’ll be stoked. Have had a great life so no complaints.

Wow. Don't think I could have that kind of outlook in your situation. Hoping they were way off on their prognosis and you are buying a Mystery Bag as a 75th birthday present to yourself.
    Peace.

Oh, thank you so much, that would be a miracle!

Hope you don’t mind me telling you the details. It’s pancreatic cancer. Half my pancreas was removed but they didn’t get it in time so it has spread to the liver, but only to there …. so far. Chemo slowed it down and after last scan oncologist said it was stable, but that was 6 weeks ago. I’ve been in hospital, palliative care and now rehab since then as I had a severe lung infection (chemo destroys immune system) with sepsis, pneumonia & blood clots! When I was  told in a roundabout way to get my affairs in order I figured I was ‘gone’, but a brilliant lung specialist pumped me full of antibiotics, steroids & morphine for 3 weeks and cleared the infection. Left me very sick for a while though and unable to walk, thus care and now rehab for 2 weeks so far. Much better though and should be home in a few weeks.

The worse thing about PC is that it can spread so quickly, so hopefully I can get more treatment when I get out of here, probably not chemo though.

Thanks again, have had so much support from PJ friends, and you’re another : it’s all very much appreciated.

Thanks so much : I’m approaching 70, and have had a great life so am more fortunate than many. When getting chemo and you see 25 and 30  year old mothers and fathers getting treatment it puts it into perspective. Now that is truly tragic.

I forgot to add that one of the worst things was I was diagnosed a week before the 2 Sydney Pearl Jam concerts last year, which I had tickets for of course, so had to miss them.

I think that I would probably have the same attitude that you have. If there's nothing to be done, you can enjoy the time you have. Making it to 70 is a pretty awesome accomplishment, and I will be really happy if I make it there. My mom was taken by cancer when she was in her 40s. Take care of yourself and big hugs.
