Also if we're talking 2026, I want to see a PJ tour and perhaps a #PJ35 event.
As for 2025, I think it's almost safe to assume that's toast.
The US holds dropped off as well.
Australia for Ed still on the radar with the Earthlings so anything is possible but not confirmed until confirmed. That’s the key.

Just popping in to say Ed did not perform at The Who's Final* Public** Farewell Show That You Could Buy Tickets To in Palm Springs/Desert.
I think he was here, but just as a fan. All Who, as it should be. Great show. My first time seeing them (and last?***)
I sacrificed Ohana to go see them (loved the lineup, but Hozier would've been the only act I HAVEN'T seen.)
Anyway, here ya go. PJ faves played: I Can't Explain, I'm One, Love Reign O'er Me, and BABA O'RILEY.
P.S. someone needs to fire the Acrisure Arena social media person. A LOT of people thought Macca, Steven Tyler, Joe Perry, and Ed would pop up. I was fine, but some folks were sour😵💫
35 years, 35 shows.
Song Wishlist: Alone, Let Me Sleep, Brother, full W.M.A., Hold On, Bugs/all of Vitalogy, Mankind, Around The Bend (full band), The Long Road, Don't Gimme No Lip, Pilate, Push Me Pull Me, All Those Yesterdays, Rival, Parting Ways, Ghost, Bu$hleaguer, WWS, Parachutes, Army Reserve, low octave Driftin', Strangest Tribe, Other Side, Undone, Fatal, Hitchhiker, Education, Black Red Yellow, Of the Earth, Love Reign O'er Me, Gonna See My Friend, Santa Cruz, Infallible, Yellow Moon, Alright, Comes Then Goes, and the Mamasan Trilogy.Wanted Posters: WPB '98, Tampa/WPB '00, Tampa '03, EV Batmobile '08ISO: any picks, or setlists from any of my shows!0 -

Maybe that's why there was no fall Earthlings tour? Free up the calendar to watch baseball?0 -

What about Bluesfest in Byron Bay in April? They recently pushed back their artist announcement explaining that there were some artist renegotiations. Be patient it will be worth it, they said. Good chance Split Enz will be there too!Brisbane 1998 #1, Brisbane 2003 #1, #2, Brisbane 2006 #1, #2, Brisbane 2009, Gold Coast 20140

Eddie Vedder sings Buddy Holly's "Every Day" after Roger Daltrey gave him Buddy Holly's guitar for safe keeping following their set at The Backyard Concert to raise money for Teen Cancer America (TCA) and UCLA Medical Center. Vedder also gave a large check as a donation to Roger for TCA.

I think he was here, but just as a fan. That show was announced late and selling poorly. Last week Acrisure Arena posted the following on their socials.Ed is coming off of Ohana. Sir McCartney just played the place a couple of days before. The Joe Perry Project was one of several bands that rotated as openers. So is was theoretically a logistic possibility and they took advantage of that. Then they hired an "influencer" to post the following.Dropping song names from Sir Paul (Blackbird), Aerosmith (Sweet Emotion) and Pearl Jam (Alive). They were just snowballing the public to sell tickers. They knew exactly what they were doing. This isn't some rinky dinky outfit. The arena is one of over 300 that Oak View Group owns and operates. They are one of the few Live Nation competitors in that space.

Place is about the size of the Moody Center, and it is pretty freaking remote.
Regardless, I had a great time, and if it does end up being the last public NA Who show, then I'm glad I went.
Yet, I have a feeling that they're going to reneg on it, and do either a few more shows next year, or do a festival/close out thing.
Pete commented on how good they sounded, and how well the tour came off. If they looked out into the crowd. And if they look at the numbers for the tickets sold, if I was them, I wouldn't want that to be my last show.
Rush, Tragically Hip, Ozzy & Black Sabbath... hell, KISS. THAT'S how you do a last show.35 years, 35 shows.

^as far as Ed goes, I wouldn't put it past him to hop on a private jet after the Cubs lost. Make it down to Palm Springs airport and be at the arena in less than fifteen minutes to see said show.
Like I said, I didn't see him, but I saw enough people in his orbit where it made me suspect it🤷♂️35 years, 35 shows.
