    My thinking now is that he would have said no. There was a dude in Raleigh N2 who had a sign with song requests (Of the Earth, Just a Girl, and one or two more) and Ed acknowledged him but said no.

    But in the moment I didn't think much. Grievance was my instinct. Right from my gut.

    Retrograde if it's early in the set.
    Who You Are or In My Tree if it's in the middle and Leaving Here if it's towards the end.

    Oooh, if we go by these 3 indicators then I would go with

    Opener: Sometimes
    Other except closer: Retrograde
    Closer: Setting Sun

    I doubt Ed would ever ask any of us about an opener, but personally I'd like to hear Wash. 

    As for closer, almost all the album closers would be amazing. 

    Anywhere else in the show really depends on how I feel in the moment. That night Grievance came from my gut. I didn't need to think it through. That's how I was feeling.

    I know what I'd like to request for the next tour but that can change, so I'm leaving it open.
