I'm looking forward to our inaugural Ohana Festival. Are there any recommendations for lodging and transportation? I have a place reserved with open cancellation if necessary. My biggest question is what the important pieces to consider and plan for regarding transportation to and from the venue are.

    To me stay wherever you get a deal, and watch for the festival shuttle passes to go on sale. The passes did seem to sell out fairly quickly, so keep an eye out. There was lots of parking at the shuttle site, and it was easy to get to and from. If flying, it’s quite easy to get in and out of John Wayne International airport. Hotels near the festival were quite expensive in my opinion, hence the shuttle’s benefits. I also made use of the lockers at the festival to stash extra clothes and merchandise - worth the price in my mind. Enjoy the trip.

    We have two tickets for Friday night for sale as we bought four and our son and girlfriend can't make it now given a wedding they are attending.  Selling for face of course or maybe a slight discount if necessary.  PM me

    For the people that show up later in day it's a good thing. There is no parking in the residential neighborhoods by then. But I'll stick with my free parking spots that I've been using for years... this is what it costs to park for football games basically

    A bit confusing re: shuttle.  They make it sound like there is no shuttle for non-VIPs.

    Edit:  Nevermind....I just saw this:

    *New for 2025: In place of our usual shuttle program, we are offering secure & convenient reserved parking near the festival with our 1-Day & 3-Day General Parking options.

    I bit the bullet and paid the $60 for parking...last year we went and couldn't find any parking by 2pm/3pm.  I don't want to deal with that again. 

    I have two wristbands in hand for Friday only for sale still if anyone wants to make me an offer send me a PM.  They came in the mail over a week ago.

    You must not travel much. In a major urban centre anywhere in the States and/or a wealthy city on either the West or East coasts these are current market rates. Ohana Fest especially takes place in a wealthy area and parking is extremely limited to begin with.

    Looks like more Sunday lineup shuffling. Any thoughts on who Amanda Reckonwith really is? There are a couple of forum links that mention it as an EV alias.
