Thanks for everyone who was so kind on this. I was released, and get to fly home tonight. It's a six month recovery on average, but I am still here. No matter how long the winter, there's a spring time ahead.

Still unsure if I can make Pittsburgh.. everything is already booked and paid for, so I am trying to talk myself into going. If not, see you next tour.
So glad you are doing well and able to fly home. What a blessing! Be safe and get rest for your recovery.

Glad to hear you’re ok and on the road to recovery.  Hope you get a chance at Pittsburgh but if not that’s ok too.  Health is priority number 1.  Safe travels.

oh yeah I agree my health is my priority. but i doubt I would go unless I can find tix to N1 first. I was originally planning on going anyway before this all happened and try to get tix at the box office or late drops, but now I think I'd need to secure something beforehand to make it at all worth it.

Thank you, so am I! The doctor said had I not gone to the ER and just gotten on the plane home it was 50/50 whether I would actually make it or not. So.. ohhhh let's call in an angel.

I’ve got 2 “get you in the door” tickets if you want them.  Sec 233 so about as extreme side stage uppers as you can get but in the door.
  • Actually we just got a pair off F2F. They are… very not great, but hey, it wouldn’t be the first time I had the worst seats in the house! Will kep eyes open for upgrades, but in the door is in the door.

I mean very obviously. Anything I do is being run by my physician, and I’ve been given lists of do’s and don’t’s.

  • Hey I got a lot of messages (because there are so many nice folks here) so I thought I’d just address the questions here.

    * Yes I can travel. I have specific restrictions and insertions provided by my doctor, but I am able to travel.
    * Yes I will be in Pittsburgh. I am leaving shortly.
    * If anyone has a decent pair of seats for N1 please let me know. Still on the hunt.
    * No I do not require ADA seating. I am mobile and to look at me, you wouldn’t even know that I am sick/almost met a bad end last week.
    * My medications have my pulmonary embolisms under control for now. It’s a long road to recovery, but as long as I follow the protocols and take my medication and get regular checkups, I should hopefully come out fine.
    * Yes I will still have fingers crossed for Felicity’s Surprise at Pittsburgh.
    * If you see me please come say hi. I’ll give you a sticker.

    Sure all are welcome

and as I read that I have Alone playing on my headphones
I’m so sorry. I’m happy they caught everything. My mom had those, and she was lucky to get to the hospital. I’ll DM you.
I lost a friend to PE before he was 30. He had a cold, and then he was gone. I am so sorry you had to go through it, but I’m really glad you got through it. ❤️

See you there.. IF AND WHEN I get there!

My flight from San Diego was supposed to lay over in Houston. The airline called me this morning said the flight was delayed and would get in to Houston too late, I can get on a flight that lays over in Denver but it leaves an hour and a half EARLIER. So I finished up work, took the dog to the sitter early, hurried (my version of hurry) to the airport and got on the flight.

Then as we are approaching Denver in a landing pattern they say due to weather we are diverted to Colorado Springs. We sit on the runway with the door open for nearly three hours. Then finally we take off and get the 20 minute flight to Denver. My flight to Pittsburgh was also delayed but it left ten minutes before we landed.

So now I am stuck in Denver with no luggage and hopeful to make it to Pennsylvania tomorrow evening.

Man these shows had better be great! j/k

We have made progress as a society but there is still a stigma when it comes to mental health as opposed to physical health and how we deal with it and when we seek help.  Health should be viewed as a holistic thing, not just cuts and bruises.
