it's not bad enough for him to lose any support, so, looks bad, yes. in reality, fine for trump.

I mean, he has a think floor (about 42/3%) but my man continually seems to be unliked.

The point of posting this is to demonstrate, as bad and as dire as things get, A MAJORITY of Americans disapprove of the man and his admin.

Twitter is the worst. Read the whole analysis, and this fact in a vacuum seems to be less important than it initially appears. As I've heard some smartasses say now and then - you can't compare one thing.

    https://www.ipsos.com/en-us/closer-look-president-trumps-approval-rating

TLDR: His floor and ceiling aren't much different from Biden or his first term. Bush had an outrageously huge surge after 9/11, to the point that it's hard to believe Trump won't try a military-based 'extension' on his Whitehouse stay. Even though Trump's underwater, he's still winning on key issues approval percentage when compared to the Democrats. Negative news events seem to be of no bearing on his approval rating. I hope this Twitter poster isn't trying to claim that this is a win for Democrats, because that appears to be BS.

Just one more thing to add... I think Democrats should stop trying to portray political confidence, and that things aren't as bad as it looks. No need to be screaming that the sky is falling, but people need to really know that their help is needed if they're not liking the trajectory things are going in, and that the Democratic leadership is worthy of their help.

While there used to be two cohorts in the Republican party - Trump supporters and Republicans - they've become one and the same, so that divided voter base advantage is effectively over. On the Democratic side, the infighting between the progressive wing and the (what I would call) anti-progressive wing to have solidified two cohorts within the Democratic party, providing further advantage to the Republicans in the absence of messages which unify the party.

These are the stacked odds that advocates for Democrats in governance should be highlighting. The voters need to be activated and made into ambassadors, because I really don't know how else faith restoration can happen en masse and lead to the enthusiasm necessary to win an election.

Vought holds one of the most powerful jobs in D.C., and he’s used his position to wage a quiet war to change the shape of the entire U.S. government.

I’ll just leave this here when inevitably, some joker who only troll posts every couple weeks comes in to gloat that “welfare queens” or whatever their veiled bigoted term is, are dumped off SNAP.

Walmart and McDonald’s have the largest percentage of employees on SNAP.

From A Letter From An American for Saturday....

her source citations can be found on her substack or in the first comment of that days post on adbook

Beneficiaries spent SNAP dollars at about 248,000 retailers. While about 80% of that money went to superstores or supermarkets—in 2025, Walmart alone captured about 25% of that money—the rest of it went to small businesses.

McD's is just fine...bunch of haters

They have the absolute best soda delivery system. When fresh and seasoned the fries can't be beat.

I wouldn't want to eat it a lot but it's decent.

Egg McMuffin is solid. Coffee is decent. Choc shakes are good. I don't care for their chicken sandwiches or nuggets but I don't mind a McChicken every once in awhile.

I love using the mobile app. You can customize your sandwich and get free stuff all the time.

I like some of their stuff. Doesn't make it food.

Their coca cola is the best coca cola of all time. Love some of the breakfast sandwiches.

But the body should not take in much of it.
