    It’s an itinerary from Toronto to Asheville, and via Newark was by far the most practical.

    Newark Airport is in chaos. Planes and helicopters are crashing. But instead of firing Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy, Trump has just fired Alvin Brown, the vice chair and only Black member of the National Transportation Safety Board.

    The NTSB did not cause any of those accidents. The NTSB is the government agency that INVESTIGATES those accidents, and this move indicates that Trump does not want a thorough, independent, and transparent investigation.
