So the thing with Japan is that they obstruct the import of many foreign products. It is not as bad as China, but try to sell your product in Japan. You may have heard about Japanese administration. Sure you can sell your rice here. They may even give you a permit after you pay for it. Then it sits in the port for 3 weeks. Then they say you cannot import this rice, it is rotten. It has gotten better but it is still heavily controlled. It is not an open market. I know a thing or two about this subject.0
