Overproduce the shit out of what PJ knows Ten Club members would want to buy as a keepsake for their shows...including shirts, tokens, license plates, posters, and stickers. Who the F cares about 'limited edition' appeal? Get the flippers out of the game. It sucks I went to two shows and showed up very early and still got shut out of all of the above mentioned items. The only way I can get them now is by paying over 3x their value to a-holes online. Bad form.
That makes no business sense. Why would they overproduce, get stuck with inventory, and then have to pay staff to distribute merchandise? Only to have fans complain about shipping costs, delays, customs duties etc. The goal is to finish the tour with limited or zero inventory while still making buckets of money. Plus, if they overproduce the unique items they might sell less of the other tour merch.0 -
True^
For my sickness that limited inventory makes me want it more.
Starting to grow out of that, but that chase sure is thrilling!0 -

They tried pre-ordering posters sight unseen. 2003? And that is exactly what happened. I have no idea about the lead time on merch but they have a business model that works for them. Given the lines, I would guess they are making more money than ever while still offering cool items and a unique poster every show. Personally, I gave up on merch a long time ago and sold off 95% of my collection. The whole merch thing makes little sense to me these days. But there was a time when it mattered, it just was not as crazy as it is now.0 -
Anyone with an extra N2 Nashville Event specific shirt? DM me. Not sure why anyone would have an extra, but I’m trying. Thanks0

I'm sort of down the middle on this stuff. I love the merch game and have met so many cool people in line and have had great experiences for the most part. A few not great experiences but, very rarely. It's part of the show experience for me, even if I don't get everything I want.
That said, I would take an online offering if you knew it was just for people with tickets or even 10C with tickets. They also should do a better job when there are multiple shows and days of having show and date-specific stuff available on the day of, and even in the venue.
I also think there should be stricter limits on items people want. There is no reason for someone to be getting three or more skate decks Or two shirts in every size. I don't even love the limit of two per poster. What are most people doing with two? Some might actually be getting for a friend, but I would say the overall intent isn't generous. At least with most posters the last year they have usually had more than plenty at the venue, and then they did have them online too later.0 -

My #1 reason to get in the outside merch line is to not have to babysit my stuff during the show. I remember the days before the outside merch (and no tubes inside!) and I swear I spent half of some shows just making sure the drunk dude around me didn't spill his beer all over my stuff. Not a fun way to enjoy a concert. Having tubes for sale with the poster does help this out quite a bit so that's huge.
With that said, my son and I got stuck in traffic on the way to the Baltimore show last year and had to line up for door-open to get in line for merch. But the same problem exists inside - there were people buying max of everything. A couple people even looked at us strange when neither one of us got the deck. lol
For the most part, I like the current limit of things for the show specific items (assuming they are enforced of course). Maybe except for tokens from reading through these threads/posts (i have no skin in that as I don't collect/have any of the tokens). Allowing 2 tokens would be better (assuming they produce more of them to go around).Post edited by hadfiiw on- ian | www.lukin.com

Sometimes at like Wrigley or Fenway, they will have multiple different posters, but normally they are all available at the same time.
And no...they aren't available at the same time.
N1 event-specific stuff will be available Sunday am (and I guess if there are any left Mon and Tues).
N2 event-specific stuff will be available Monday and Tuesday.
License plates and skate decks are location-specific -- one for both nights. And will be available Sunday.
All the tour-specific stuff will be available all days (dark matter tees, keychains, dog leash, etc)
Are posters consistently selling out early or are they easier to get this tour? It seems like they were easier to get last year but not sure about this run of shows (I have only been to FL1).
Trying to figure out if I can still get one later in the day after the lines have died down.0 -

Is it safe to assume all the show posters will be available in the 10c shop like last year?Appeared to be an animal, yet so polite.0
