    exactly because of this reason those frat corporate assholes and their picture perfect girlfriends annoyed the shit out of me for PJ this past September ain’t never going back!

    I completely forgot that I chose Sacramento over Fresno on the Pearl Jam 2022 tour. Fresno got Dave Krusen and Sacramento got canceled.

    chalk up another one for Prince. this show was announced day of and was $100 cash only. I figured I'd hassle with going to an atm and getting to Hollywood just to stand in line for hours only to get shut out...so I didn't go. apparently a lot of people had the same thought, because it didn't even sell out. he played until 2am, 4 hours and nearly 60 songs. ended up being his last LA show. damn

    RHCP 2023 - was recovering from Achilles surgery so I pulled the pin on that one. Have never seen them. Loved Unlimited Love and that album really got me back into them. 
    Tool - last time they toured Aus, my mate was getting tix, not sure what happened but I didn’t get one of the ones he purchased. 
    Metallica - touring Australia later this year, Nov, will I regret not going?

    I have said it before, but there is only one. Pearl Jam at Budokan. There is no good reason I should have not been there. I have been to Japan 20 times. I should have made it to that show.

    If you haven't seen them before you should definitely check them out. That said, they have lost a tick on the fastball. Maybe that's all the more reason to go now vs waiting.

    I waffled at first on going to see TOTD in Philly, but said f it and went for it...

    When it comes to local shows, I ask myself one simple question: "do you have something more important to do?" If the answer is no, then go to the show. See your friends, see live music, have a good time. At the last minute, literally 2 hours before showtime, I paid $150 to see Cornell at the Capitol Theater on his last solo tour. And that memory will live forever.

    I paid 80 to see faith no more last minute with a friend last time around at Webster Hall nyc. Friend got a bogus ticket off the street. I ditched him for a couple hours and saw the show. Heck I'd want him to go in too if the roles were reversed. 
    No 'regerts'

    I love Webster Hall. Did New Years eve there for many years. Saw many good shows there. I think there was a roll n roaster around the corner. Memory is hazy.

    I missed the Clash at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium in 1980.  I was huge into the London Calling album yet I was only 14 and not too savvy in terms of knowing what bands were coming to town.

    Luckily I got to see them 3 times after that!

    All the Tom Petty shows ever. And all the REM shows ever. What an idiot. (Still an outside chance to see REM I suppose)

    And the 1994 Pink Floyd tour - I got into them just 1 or 2 years later.

    I did make it to Temple of the Dog, it being 3 miles from my house. Still a big scuffle to find a ticket last minute.

    Tom Petty is a regret for me as well. I saw him with Bob Dylan and the Grateful Dead but never went to see any of his own shows. I do regret that. 

    I saw REM only once for their Green tour. I wish I saw them more as well.
