Unfortunately the band's current touring practices have created a system of haves and have-nots. The band stills makes great music, still puts on a great show, and have every right to run their business however they see fit. However, the way in which they currently tour does support a system where only some can see them. Because they only hit certain cities, most have to travel see them which requires the financial and schedule flexibility to do so. Even when they hit major cities where travel may not be required, because they hit so few places on a single leg, it makes it difficult to obtain tickets. If you have the financial flexibility you can put in for all shows and increase your potential odds for winning. If you have the schedule flexibility, you can go anytime during the week or spend the time on f2f to potentially get tickets. Like I said, the band can run their business however they sit fit, but the unintended consequence is the current system where if you have the means you have a much better chance of seeing them live.
Most people at shows are not traveling to see them. Most people at the shows are local. The vast majority of people attending shows are not posting about it here. They're just "regular" fans who go to one show.
If that is true, then how they tour is still creating a system of have and have-nots. The people in states/cities they have not been to in over 10 years haven't had an opportunity to see them live if the majority are locals. If you happen to live in a location where they don't tour often and don't have financial or schedule flexibility you are out of luck. I'm not saying they have to do anything about it. I'm just merely pointing out the reality of many of us who are in this position.
Most of the tickets are not sold through the lottery.

Whether or not tickets are purchased via the lottery or directly through ticketmaster doesn't change the point. The lottery adds another layer but at the end of the day, it costs time/money to travel to see the band play and if they limit where they tour it is still creating a system where you have to have both in order to see them.
0-2 in Hollywood. Oh well, they’ll definitely be back in Florida soon, right? RIGHT?!
I assume the same for me.
First off, there's no sane reason for them playing the Hard Rock Hollywood, vs. the Kia Center in Orlando for example, with a much better central location and it has about three times the capacity.
Secondly, you think that they'd have perfected the system after about 34 years. Why should I hang on to a 20+ year old membership (208XXX) if I can't get in the house in my home state for at least one of two shows?
It's not that you "can't"; it's that you didn't. Your membership gave you the opportunity to try for those tickets before non-members. It didn't guarantee that you would actually get the tickets. That's the benefit. It may not be enough to justify membership for some members, but that's all it has ever promised.
This is the tough truth. 10C has probably 200k+ members than it did 10 years ago, and that means thousands more entering each ticket lottery. Smaller tours too. Demand curve shifts right, supply curve shifts left. The fallout is exorbitant prices, even at "face value."
Couple that with the fact that there is no more annual t shirt, gift box for annual members, etc. I think a lot of people are rightfully questioning the value of a membership at this point.
It's not just PJ either. Way too many things are heading this direction. It's becoming untenable.

I hang onto my membership because of things like this Hollywood show. It'll be decades since I've seen them in a venue this small. Oh, and on the off chance I actually want to enter a contest once a month.
0/2 on the Florida shows. first tour I've been completely shutout in quite a while. luckily my brother scored 10C GA tix for night 1 in Florida, just have to hope the artist presale isn't a disaster for night 2 in FL.

I have no inside knowledge of how this process works but I love to recklessly speculate about things My guess is that they are only doing the lottery once from all entries, then ordering them 1 through whatever, let's say 25000. Then they walk through show by show. For Florida Night 1, they start at #1 and work their way down until all tickets are allotted. Then then go to Florida Night #2 and start at the same #1 entry again and work their way back down. That would make the most sense as to why the distribution is way more 7/8 and 0/8 and why we don't seem to see many 4/8.

I have been a long time fan since 1994 and finally within the last few years have been able to afford to go. I live in Nashville area and was lucky to get tickets to see them in 2022 and can't believed they are already coming back here because before 2022 they hadn't played an area size show since 2003, and never played our indoor Bridgestone arena. But yea I still can't afford to try to travel to go see them in another state.
My beef, which I'm sure has been beefed about before, is that you can join the 10c a couple of months ago with multiple names from your household and score GA tix to a boatload of shows. While some poor schlub has been paying dues for years gets shut out.
I know seniority has nothing to do with buying tix, only seat assignments, but come on. And since they have totally put this ticket thing in TM's hands I don't see this changing.
My wife and I saw Barry Manilow just this past summer. Tickets only cost us $8 each.
Does that make me a loser?
No not a loser in my book, maybe a little confused. The doctor will be with you soon 🥸🥸🥸

No id say your smart $8 is worth it and you get more $ for drinks and food! If you spend $200 for a ticket for MSG drinks cost above $20 in the building guess what your night at the PJ show cost close to $300 never mind the food
0-4 Pitt and Raleigh. Really surprised to be shut out of Raleigh. This is the problem now is that people can just put in for every show to try for GA and if they don’t get it then just sell on F2F especially if you have a good 10c number and know that your tix will be able to sell. Also possible that there is some kind of block on my account because I got the temporary shut down this year when trying to buy through F2F. It’s BS and they couldn’t even tell me why it was suspended. Just said the system thought I was a bot when I’m just a dude obsessively refreshing trying to get tix. I just want some transparency in the process.

For any of you all completely shut out, did any of you go for reserved only? Just curious.
No, I put in GA/reserve selection in for both nights in Florida/ Pittsburgh with the max 2 tickets. No tickets for me
Same.
I was lucky on the last tour, going 3/3 on the hardest tickets (NYC, both Philly). Sucks on this one, when I can drive to Hollywood, or fly back home to Pittsburgh.
I'll test my luck on the fan exchange. I eventually got in to see the Cure using that platform, and sold one of my PJ Austin tickets day of when my wife fell ill that morning.
