Yes, you can't list the tickets for anything less or more than face value. This also includes the premium tickets if people list those.

Have you been successful in the past in obtaining tickets?  I assumed I would get lottery tickets and did not register for the presale (my incompetence).  I live in Pittsburgh and want to take one daughter to first show and second daughter to the second show.

I've never been successful in obtaning F2F for Pearl Jam.   The Cure did a similar thing for their tour last year and I made many, many, many attempts. Most times things would not even go in my cart, or if they did I was unable to complete the check out process. Eventually I did wind up with a successful order but the amount of time and effort that went into that was of an extremely questionable level. Amazing show, though.

i think the club has a good set up, they gave away their allotted seats and now it’s up to the fans to do the rest if they want to get in a show

You can get F2F tix with a little dedication but it is a giant waste of our collective time.  It’s like old school camping in line to get to tickets but now it lasts for weeks/months and you can’t blink or you miss your chance.

F2F is a terrible system and the thread on here only proves it. Same people obsessively carting every ticket that pops up whether they intend to use them or not. “Upgrading” over and over and over. Totally against the spirit of how it is supposed to be used.

I can't say that I wasn't a bit guilty of the last tour. I upgraded my Austin seats. I also remember seeing people around Austin literally staring at their phones and constantly refreshing at bars/restaurants trying to upgrade or get GA. Several of them were just grabbing anything that popped up. That was a bit obsessive.

For all big shows now if I don't get tickets during the initial onsale I don't even bother looking again until a day or two before. Plenty of reasonable options at that point. I cannot fathom grinding out f2f for months.

It's a slog, for sure! But that method is sound. There are ALWAYS production drops, and last minute change of plans.

And if we don't buy Premium, they will fall to face value. One by one.

THIS! Like, enjoy the city you're in! I LOVE Chicago. And Austin was fun, albeit slightly traumatic (was SA'd on my way out). 

But we need to enjoy these cities if we're going to travel. I love the band, but let's get some food & culture too, y'know??

Thanks, I am thinking about that route!  Actually this experience put Pittsburgh on my city of interest for the year.  Even if it's not for the show, I think I'll make a weekend trip to explore the area.  I dabble in painting (just for fun) and I noticed there's quite a bunch of museums around the city.  It's been a while since I did an old school road trip.   Sliver lining and all that.

That's definitely the way to do things as long as you're within driving distance and don't have to make travel arrangements. Or if you do, maybe be prepared to travel to the city and not see the show. 

But yeah, doing the whole F2F thing is not for me. I respect others grind and dedication to it but I don't have it in me at this point lol

So usually, I only request tickets for shows I am sure to attend (1 to 4 shows) and I usually get shut out.   This time, I requested from ALL 10 shows and I got 9/10 !!  I did request PIT but got only reserved, but anyway, I know I won’t be going to 9 shows, so I can for sure say I will be selling 4-5 shows (x 2 tickets).   So there will definitely be chances to buy tix.  Gotta have faith 😄

I would even do it if I traveled. It's not like there will be no ticket inventory. Once in a blue moon you might pay more then than you would pay right now but, other than Hollywood, these shows do not fit that profile. Plus you get the added bonus of not scurrying to sell tickets if your plans have to change.
