I'm in the club, but i honestly expected this.  They have made it too easy to just "enter them all and see what happens!" when you can sell them back for full face value in literal seconds once it f2f opens.
I have never used f2f.  are tickets sold at face value?
Yes, you can't list the tickets for anything less or more than face value. This also includes the premium tickets if people list those.
Have you been successful in the past in obtaining tickets?  I assumed I would get lottery tickets and did not register for the presale (my incompetence).  I live in Pittsburgh and want to take one daughter to first show and second daughter to the second show.
I've never been successful in obtaning F2F for Pearl Jam.   The Cure did a similar thing for their tour last year and I made many, many, many attempts. Most times things would not even go in my cart, or if they did I was unable to complete the check out process. Eventually I did wind up with a successful order but the amount of time and effort that went into that was of an extremely questionable level. Amazing show, though.
That’s key right there, the dedication to F2F some people like it some people don’t.

i think the club has a good set up, they gave away their allotted seats and now it’s up to the fans to do the rest if they want to get in a show
The old setup that allowed for prioritization of picks was better. But I agree with you that if fans are motivated, there are tickets to be had. It's just sad that corporate greed has led to the false scarcity that we see now.

You can get F2F tix with a little dedication but it is a giant waste of our collective time.  It’s like old school camping in line to get to tickets but now it lasts for weeks/months and you can’t blink or you miss your chance.

Fair, some people have the time, some don’t and some don’t care. I do so I’ll be camping out for tickets.

What would be nice is if there was a F2F option where those who got shut out had the first crack at those tickets.

F2F is a terrible system and the thread on here only proves it. Same people obsessively carting every ticket that pops up whether they intend to use them or not. “Upgrading” over and over and over. Totally against the spirit of how it is supposed to be used.

I can't say that I wasn't a bit guilty of the last tour. I upgraded my Austin seats. I also remember seeing people around Austin literally staring at their phones and constantly refreshing at bars/restaurants trying to upgrade or get GA. Several of them were just grabbing anything that popped up. That was a bit obsessive.

For all big shows now if I don't get tickets during the initial onsale I don't even bother looking again until a day or two before. Plenty of reasonable options at that point. I cannot fathom grinding out f2f for months.

It's a slog, for sure! But that method is sound. There are ALWAYS production drops, and last minute change of plans.

And if we don't buy Premium, they will fall to face value. One by one.

THIS! Like, enjoy the city you're in! I LOVE Chicago. And Austin was fun, albeit slightly traumatic (was SA'd on my way out).

But we need to enjoy these cities if we're going to travel. I love the band, but let's get some food & culture too, y'know??

I guess 30 continuous years in Ten Club
    don't mean shit.
Why do so many people who've been in the Ten Club for so long have no idea how this has worked for the entire time they've been in the Ten Club? These posts come up over and over again, often from people with five posts or fewer.
    LOL...Huge fans can't be upset?
The point is not that they're upset. The point is that they somehow have missed the fact that seniority in the Ten Club has never been a factor in whether you get tickets in the lottery.
They're just expressing frustration. It doesn't require a careful reading followed by a correction.
And I'm expressing frustration at the dozens of people across various threads who keep registering this specific complaint.
I gather speed from you fucking with me.

We are a nation of people with misplaced grievances. "I don't know how things work, so let me blame the wrong people for it." I'm just doing my small part to fix America. You're welcome.

Hugs from a fellow loser here too!  0-2 for Pittsburgh, the only shows I tried for.  Had a nice streak going, both Seattle shows and both St. Paul shows. I didn't think about signing up for the Friday sale.  Lesson learned for future legs. I'll be traveling day of the sale anyway so I won't be able to watch the screen like a hawk.
All good! You can always try with Fan-to-Fan up til day of show (just don't buy Premium!)
Thanks, I am thinking about that route!  Actually this experience put Pittsburgh on my city of interest for the year.  Even if it's not for the show, I think I'll make a weekend trip to explore the area.  I dabble in painting (just for fun) and I noticed there's quite a bunch of museums around the city.  It's been a while since I did an old school road trip.   Sliver lining and all that.

For all big shows now if I don't get tickets during the initial onsale I don't even bother looking again until a day or two before. Plenty of reasonable options at that point. I cannot fathom grinding out f2f for months.
That's definitely the way to do things as long as you're within driving distance and don't have to make travel arrangements. Or if you do, maybe be prepared to travel to the city and not see the show.

But yeah, doing the whole F2F thing is not for me. I respect others grind and dedication to it but I don't have it in me at this point lol

Agreed - allow some time to enjoy the city
...And he who forgets will be destined to remember.

...I swear I never took it for granted. Just thought of it now.
  • So usually, I only request tickets for shows I am sure to attend (1 to 4 shows) and I usually get shut out.   This time, I requested from ALL 10 shows and I got 9/10 !!  I did request PIT but got only reserved, but anyway, I know I won’t be going to 9 shows, so I can for sure say I will be selling 4-5 shows (x 2 tickets).   So there will definitely be chances to buy tix.  Gotta have faith 😄

I sent you a DM. I would be interested in your FL and/or Pittsb tix, if you end up selling those.
I put in for those 4 and ended up 0/4.
    Thanks!

I would even do it if I traveled. It's not like there will be no ticket inventory. Once in a blue moon you might pay more then than you would pay right now but, other than Hollywood, these shows do not fit that profile. Plus you get the added bonus of not scurrying to sell tickets if your plans have to change.
