I switched to Am Exp but haven’t had the opportunity yet to even try. I feel like things are gonna start moving soon so I want to be in the best position possible….

I have gotten the verification requirement using Amex when I’ve tried to get tickets multiple times in a short amount of time. The only one where I never have is a Citi card.
What worked for me is, I registered my MC and Visa on their individual click to pay portals.
Search online for "visa click to pay”. It will bring you to the visa website, and you make a free profile, and you register the Visa card with the card details and your billing address. Once the Visa card is registered in the database, when you use that particular Visa online, the verification code prompt disappears since you registered the card with Visa.
Same thing for MC, search for Mastercard, click to pay and register your card with them.
Since registering my cards, I bought Neil Young tickets on Ticketmaster Canada and wasn’t asked for the extra verification code.
I’m not sure if the extra step is waived if I buy tickets on TM US. I’m under the impression that when you register your card it’s only for transactions within the billing address country. An international shopping verification code is needed.

I enrolled. TY for the advice. I’ll try anything at this point.
Thank you to @danlee1095 for the tickets. It will be my brother’s first show. Also thanks to @Houryo for the head ups. Fans taking care of fans is what makes this community awesome.

I have an Amazon Visa from Chase - only one that works for me w/out verification.

Has anyone figured out which CC doesn’t make you double authenticate?!? I’ll never beat the bots if I have to check email for a verification code before checking out……
I’ve had luck with Chase. Citi’s been 50/50 even on their presales.
