It was a coordinated drop on the Reddit forum.
I saw that. Seems like a lot of coordinated drops haven’t worked though.

Pittsburgh locals, trying to canvass boarding and found a location at the Hill District, Centre/Reed and Centre/Kirpatrick area - how would the walk be after an event?

    Thanks in advance
Honestly that walk is not a great one. That really isn’t a great area to be walking in late. I would not make that walk, or stay in that area (as someone who has lived here for 40+ years). Nor would I suggest a friend of mine to take that walk after a show. There are some newer developments in that area (between the arena/lower hill and Oakland/Pitt campus), that are nicer, but I’d still be cautious. Especially at that time of night. Hopefully that helps some. If you need any other info/suggestions I’ll keep an eye out and try to respond.
thanks man, how about the area North of Allegheny Center? Federal and Henderson... Trying to gauge how walkable it would be after the concert, thanks in advance
Not a problem at all. Allegheny Center can be sketchy as well, not walkable after the concert. Could grab a uber to get there. But I would not be walking in that area at that time of night. If looking right outside of downtown, your best bet is to get in the North Shore (by PNC park). Can walk, a little further of a walk, but doable. I’ve done it, and do run the chance of an unwanted interaction along the way through the city (uber is always a solution).

Drove past my local PPG Paints store on the way to work this morning and a way of excitement came over me that I normally don't get from a paint store. :)

Haha. I saw one of their trucks on the road the other day and it made me think of the show. I guess those naming rights deals do have value

I did a search for PPG stores near me, because I didn't think I had seen one of there stores around here. It turns out there is one right across the Wabash River in Indiana about 10 miles from me. I have drove past it tons of times and just never paid any attention to it.

So there’s some scammers on FB with tix to all the shows. 99% sure they’re not 10c people. Asking for my budget for tickets 😂. Post says “No Scammers!” Don’t get scammed by them.

I’ve had 2 people ask me if I wanted to log into their TM account.  I always say I don’t think that would be necessary but didn’t know if this was the beginning of some type of scam?  Why would I need to log into their TM account?
  • julieooliernjulieooliern WA Posts: 221
Yeah they asked me my TM email so sink ew they were from a second party distributor. I said I preferred to get tix from 10c member through a TM link drop and she stopped writing back. I just deleted my FB acct permanently, I’m so over FB, this was just one more confirmation

I was going to ask you Deb, do you make many and bring them to share? I was thinking about doing that - but I don’t wanna do if it’s your “thing” and it would bug you, ya know? 🤔

There are numerous people making bracelets..some trade..some just giveaway. I custom them if people want that and sell year round and then I make a bunch leading up to shows to give away. I've even seen a few ladies making them in the GA line to kill time so anyone can do it..certainly doesn't bug me..so go for it! I started making them in 2023 because it was helping my nerves about traveling to Texas alone but there are many who make them for the various shows.

There are many times I ended up bringing a bunch back home and last two times I've sold them and donated the money to EB. Of course I do have beads taking over my kitchen so be warned 😆

This is all awesome! I love a good crafter. I have a little anxiety/ADHD myself and have to keep my hands busy so I love to knit and bracelet making seems like it would fit the bill too. I can definitely foresee the kitchen table table problem 😂

My counter is a wreck. I just made 200 bracelets for EB research for them to sell and giveaway at events this year so beads live there year round at this point. I have 4 dogs so I can't do them on a table

@deb1211 I also want to learn how to make these and if I'm somewhat successful (because I'm not crafty) I'll bring them to give to people. Who knows, maybe this band will get me to learn a new skill!

My daughter makes a ton of these bracelets and sells them at a few of our local craft fairs.

She makes enough to re-stock her supplies and have a little spending cash, plus she loves doing it.
