Just noticed the Pit is large at Pit.  Probably twice as big as it was for Seattle and Baltimore.

    I grabbed a ticket in section 218 row G.

How bad are the uppers in this arena?

I know it's been a while since they played Pittsburgh... are these shows considered highly coveted, kinda like Philly? Great energy?
Just look at the set lists for their past shows here. Fantastic. Finishing the tour with two shows, unbelievable energy. They are going to be something to remember for sure!

Honestly, I think if they did them they'd be one of the first things to sell out. They just have to make sure its the same size as a terrible towel and price it reasonably.

I am in for night 1 through the lottery. I didn't think I was going to be able to make night 2, but now it looks like a possibility if my wife's school district doesn't have too many snow days. I will be hitting F2F closer to the show once the winter weather is over.

Ed should play “Redemption Song” at the Stanley Theater while in town in honor of the last place Bob Marley performed, and invite me since it was my idea.

This generally me as well. But after watching tickets appear in lots weeks leading up to show. I’m going to take a chance on F2F. My hotel is booked and refundable. So definitely lots of time. But it nice having the security of tickets in hand, completely understand. Well hope my theory will hold up

Kennywood 2025 calendar not posted yet, but likely to be open on the weekend.  Haven't been since 1997, when there was the Pitt Fall and Steel Phantom.   Sad the Pirates aren't in town...

Is Kennywood worth it? Gotta figure out something to do Saturday. Pirates are back in town on Monday, I'm sticking around for that, checking PNC off my list. Would have preferred a day game, but oh well.

Jackrabbit, Racer, and Thunderbolt are timeless old-school wooden coasters.   Phantom's Revenge has a longer second drop than 1st owing to great use of the terrain.  Steel Curtain, reopening in '25, has 9 inversions.  Sky Rocket is a lower-level launch coaster.   I can think of worse ways to spend a day.  May even go Sunday if the weather is bad Saturday...

Doing the 2 Pittsburgh show. Shows #14 & #15. Scored GA for 5/18 through the lottery. Pretty excited about that !!. First time in the "pit" for PJ. Did the TM queue this morning. Was 11,000 in line when it started at 10am EST. Got uppers ( 234 ). Hey, but at least I'm in the building. F2F later when that is available. Will be in The Burgh 5/15 - 5/20. Staying right next to the venue. 2 PJ shows and Pirates / Reds on the 19th. Should be a good adventure !.

Just dawned on me as I was listening to the 2013 show here. Last time they played Pittsburgh was the opening show of their Lightening Bolt tour, and they will be finishing (at least for now) this leg of the Dark Matter tour. So anticipating two stellar shows
