  • Absolutely unbelievable show. I can't compare it to the 03 shows, i was sixteen and they were lifechanging, but absolutely the best show i've seen since.

Absolutely blindsided by how generous the setlist was tonight. Vibes all round were great, they seemed to be in such a good mood and i reckon the first time i've felt a lot of emotion on stage at a show. Something else.

Ed said they're planning to come back in the next year or 2 and i'm pretty sure he said they just put the venue on hold. They must've really loved these shows.

This is my favourite of the four shows I attended on this tour (both Mel and both Syd). A lot of us were expecting a greatest hits set but this had so much for the nerds.

It's almost as if they knew it was my birthday (34 too, same as Ed's top).

So many highlights for me. This was my first time following a tour for multiple shows and I'm so glad I did it.

Best show I've seen since 2006 and maybe better. They are firing on all cylinders. Unbelievable.

I don't think it'll be that long until they're back Down Under.

Wow. Just, wow. This band is unfuckingreal.

Garden to open signalled this was going to be a special night. Why Go, BoJ, Tremor Christ, Save You, Dissident, they just kept building and building.

Then… Hunger Strike into Immortality. Are you kidding me? The crowd did their best to sing Chris’ parts. It sounded unreal in the Circle.

A 10-song encore - 11 songs really as most of Little Wing was played (way more than just a tag) - and nestled right in the middle of it… Black into Alone? WTF?!?

During the Save It For Later tag, Ed sang about not wanting to leave, which lead to something along the lines of “if I don’t go home, my wife might run away, she might run away, don’t run away, run away” etc.

The whole show had a real end-of-tour celebration feel to it. Every time Jeff appeared in the screens he was beaming. Mike was on fire as always, Stone was grooving, the only pause in the encore was because Matt broke a drum. They really left it all out there tonight.

A special mention needs to go Ed saying “if we come back… maybe next year… 2 years at most, will you come?” We need to hold him to that! 10+ years between tours is way too long.
    “Do not postpone happiness”
    (Jeff Tweedy, Sydney 2007)

“Put yer good money on the sunrise”

Ed's voice is better than ever. What a show. Singing along on Hunger Strike was too special. Hits and rarities epic.

I dont know that I have all the words to explain that show. Just WOW. Will take some time to process all that. Every moment from start to finish tonight was just wow. So many greats, so many firsts for me and Ive absolutely loved hearing all the Dark Matter songs too.

Thank you for an amazing year. What a way to end it.

The Aussie and Kiwi crowds have been so awesome and its been so great to be a part of it. Saving for next tour starts now!!

A big thank you shout out to the Red Frog crew too for this whole leg- keeping us sun protected, hydrated and feeding us their name sake candies/sweets/lollies. What an awesome initiative. You guys rock. We need you in Europe thats for sure.

After all 5 Aus shows and this one in particular, I’m swiftly reminded why this is simply the best for your soul.

Thank you so much for finally returning. The energy and chemistry reached a level no long time fan was ever expecting. Absolutely blown away. And I’m certain the band was blown away by the reception they’ve received over here.

Thank you for reconnecting me with friends I’ve missed so dearly.

Thank you for the new friendships made.

And finally, thank you for playing Tremor Christ. That baby has eluded me for 26 years!

    Travel safe everyone! 😊

That's pretty awesome they covered No Surrender.  I love that song!  Also fitting as I was at the Springsteen tour finale last night in Vancouver (also an epic show!) :)

This is easily the best list of the tour. Light on the hits, heavy on some deep cuts. Unbelievable

Amazing night and an absolutely insane set. Eddie grabbed my Tremor Christ sign right before they played it, couldn’t believe it! The best PJ show I’ve ever seen and best set of this world tour for sure! Hunger Strike, Save You, Brain of J, Dissident, Alone, Tremor Christ, Immortality, In hiding - so good to get a heap of songs not played as often recently!
