I've got that very feeling as it comes to and end. It's not about whats in the bag really it's the thrill of the hunt and seeing joy. We need more joy on this here forum. And this provided it.
agree ! Tom ain't always right....this time the Waiting Isn't the Hardest Part.
Any new realizations... would have to wait... Til he had more time,... more time... Time to dream,... to himself... he waves goodbye, To himself... I'll see you on the other side...
If this dreamboat showed up here I vow to learn how to play guitar!
It's a very rewarding hobby. I recommend learning guitar even if you don't get one delivered. Yamaha makes excellent quality gear, and it's quality / price ratio is top tier. My Yamaha acoustic was $300, but has the quality of those acoustics that are over $1K. To this day, it's my favorite piece of music gear that I own. No cords needed, just pick up and play.
But if this sweet beautiful electric shows up at my door, then I will learn how to play "Hard To Imagine" as my first song on this amazing guitar.
I love this, and agreed its a great hobby! One of the first things I did when I made a bit of money beyond enough for necessities was I bought a Taylor acoustic, and its one of my greatest joys. you don't need to play for anyone but yourself.
One thing I haven't bought is a really nice acoustic guitar. I have a Les Paul and a Strat that I have purchased over the years to encourage me to play more and I've failed at that.
I inherited a 1951 Gibson acoustic L50 from my grandpa but I'm too afraid to carry it around. I also have an Alvarez acoustic that my wife bought about 35 years ago that is decent but just doesn't have the action and sound to keep me interested.
I've thought about seeking out a Taylor or Martin acoustic

The acoustic that I bought, and absolutely LOVE, is the Yamaha FG820. The quality is top-notch, and at a very nice price. Highly recommend for anyone that wants to start playing guitar. It compares very nicely to the more expensive guitars.
I have an inexpensive Yamaha acoustic and love the sound. And a cheap squier strat which I do not!
I was also hoping to see Baltimore 2020 merch, but it never appeared in any packs I saw. I'm guessing we'll have to wait for the 2030 Mystery Packs for that gear

Awesome! If my xxl looks like that I will be very happy. What was the weight?

The older well made acoustics are the best. I inherited one (I don't even know what brand it is) from an uncle, and I swear it always stays perfectly in tune, even after weeks of not playing it, it barely needs adjustment. In some ways it plays even better than my Taylor.
I dont have a good electric, but I've always wanted one. I feel like the acoustic is easier to pick up without a lot of thought (plugging stuff in? lol). I just keep it by my desk, and its easy to pick up when i have a spare moment. Maybe that would help you to play more too!

XL bag 2 arrived in WI today. Pretty standard. I did get stickers and pins this time. Two pins from shows I went to (or was supposed to). Anyone know anything about the skull and/or A-Heart stickers?
So I'm thinking a week in Fife purgatory, another week in MA USPS black hole, then maybe get it by Hannukah?
LOL definitely, but don't forget Windsor CT. I don't really get excited until it hits Laconia

Received my 2 XXL's today. Nothing too exciting...Both bags had the same hoodie which was kind of a bummer. Hoping my wife's has some more offbeat stuff.

Unless I missed any, there were only 5 shirts from 2022 cancelled tours in this mystery bag (Nashville, Quebec, Hamilton, & 2x NYC). My guess is those were the only 5 shirts that were printed before the tour was postponed. There's more stickers & buttons from cancelled shows, but I didn't check to see if all the shows were made.
I’d play the shit out of that mccready strat.. terribly.. but I’m getting better everyday! Been playing for 20+ years.. just long enough to know how much I have to learn.. love my Martin and sg special.. but that strat would quickly eclipse those two… good luck for anybody still in the running! Has to be someone, why not me!!?!
until its found, anyone has a chance! keep the dream alive!
