Amazing setlist! Friend went to her first show last night and said she won't ever miss them ever again next time they're in the area. I can't wait to hear the boot - too many Even Bros behind me talking thru the entire set.

The start of the setlist would be a disaster for me. I've been to 15 shows and seen Small Town and Daughter at almost every one.
The rest of the setlist is pretty dope though.

I wasn’t at either Fenway but I’d have a hard time believing they topped Philly 1. I think it’s impossible to match that energy , especially in a ballpark.

Nothing I've seen since at least 2016 has topped Philly 1.... possibly 2013.

All depends on where you stand. Fenway 1 felt dead to me but I know it must’ve been crazy in GA. Fenway 2 crowd was mostly awesome in my section.

I was lucky to have a good section for night 1 in the grandstands.

Here's a joke for the thread:

Q: How do you know someone was at the Philly 2024 PJ shows?
    A: Don't worry, they'll tell you

Having been at Philly 1 & both Fenways… you’re wrong. Something extra happened down there that night.

I get that post-concert endorphins are a hell of a drug, but saying any show on this tour was better than pre-pandemic PJ is pretty nutso

With all due respect....nothing ever tops a PHILADELPHIA PJ show.

Prague Krakow Berlin 2018. Berlin 2022

A great night. Might not be the best all-time show many of us here have seen, but 29 songs in 2024 was something special.

The philly circlejerk is just hilarious to me. Boston is a better city, Fenway is a more interesting venue, and the crowd was hype, as it is at every single PJ show. You can't convince me that Philly just produces inherently better shows than anywhere else. My second show ever was in the pit in Philly and it does not stand out as significantly better than most of the others I've been to.

Arena concerts > stadium concerts, and Fenway sucks particular ass. History is it's only selling point, and even that is tired. It's barely good for baseball anymore, it's never been good for concerts.

Lifelong Bostonian here, but the crowd at these last two Fenway shows couldn't even sniff the energy that was at the Wells Fargo on 9/7.

    The Philly hype is real.

I'm a clown for having an opinion?

To me the clowns are the ones that bring up other shows in completely unrelated threads, as to say "glad you enjoyed the show, but it wasn't nearly as good as the show I went to"
