Jw
haha!
If he did win I wonder what he will say.
I am sure it will be different then the last time he accepted an award.
But ya never know with him. LOL
Sweep the Leg Johnny.
Oh, Cornell's song is also nominated in this category...
Guaranteed is a better song than You Know My Name.
Anyhow, Guaranteed is a fucking fantastic song. I'm glad that it was chosen among all the other possible ITW tracks. I think it has a chance, although Falling Slowly is probably the favorite.

They didn't put a studio album out this year.

That was released in 2006 so I don't think it was eligible for this year (didn't get any nominations last year either, IIRC).
I think the song from "Once" will probably win but still, a lot of good artists are represented this year. Vedder, Cornell, Springsteen, Foo Fighters. Although I can't beleieve they got an "Album of the Year" nomination.
Shouldn't but too much stock into these awards but it's fun to discuss I guess.
That movie was out in November 2006.
I believe it is a 9/30 cut off. So the period covered by this years awards is 10/1/06 - 9/30/07.

Just like the RnR HoF...who's to say that just because you aren't IN that you don't matter?
Besides, there is never a 1st place prize in art.
Um it kinda matters cause if he wins there is more of a chance he will play some solo dates...
no one said it, just makes sense
Ummmm Really?
I don't think his winning necessarily means there will or won't be EV solo tour dates.
If I never see EV solo, but still have PJ around as a band, then consider me happy. EV is good right where he is...and that's why it's taken this long to even get something from him, without his band by his side.
The whole is greater than the sum of it's parts.
relax I didnt say anything about Pearl Jam here... just stating the obvious
I'm not that good at relaxing....
...and I still don't think your correlation stands on solid ground
The guy obviously wants to sell records... awards and shows sell more records. It is not exactly rocket science...
Seriously though, good job. Its a great song and it deserves recognition.
