Children stabbed to death in the UK leading to riots

I can see civil unrest coming to ours streets very soon.  Enough is enough. 
Too many times some maniac stabs people in the street but children aged 6 stabbed to death and left critical just cannot be comprehended.
It's fucking beyond heart breaking.
A 17 year old has been arrested. What the hell is going on. He was known to Mi6 and the local mental health services. 
Already this weekend London saw thousands on the streets now I fear this is the start of something much bigger.

curious, for how long have nhs mental health services been cut due to austerity measures? and to your memory is this sort of act a relatively new phenomenon?

what I am wondering really is do you think it causal or more correlation?

My honest opinion...
I've been in the mental health system on and off and discharged not of my will because of funding and resources so it's a failing system. BUT mental health gets banded around when the truth may not be palatable to society. This was reported as a 17 year old from Cardiff. Now that may be where he resided but that's not the whole story.
Asylum seeker is what's being reported now

Exactly as I said. The meat heads will take to the street and blame anyone of the Muslim faith. And then it will be absolute carnage in major cities. Because the government won't tell the truth as to who did this and what the motive to stab children to death was. So the people will do this either way

As if the story isn't bad enough, a mob hijacks a peaceful vigil  Just terrible news.

The vigil was peaceful and un affected. After that and about 2 miles away a mosque was attacked . There is no link to islam atm so god knows what they are thinking. 
It's going to happened again tonight in London there is a 7pm meeting at downing street that will go the same way

I have a daughter exactly the same age as the poor girls murdered. 
It's affected me so badly I can't stop thinking and going over this. 
It's so unimaginable a human can do this

I was right, the whole country is out on the streets. Riots civil unrest.

I read about these events on August 6th for the first time. I've heard nothing about it on local Toronto news. Awful, awful stuff; Terrifyingly sad news for the girls' families, friends, and community. 

The racist mob attacks that are being videoed and posted on Twitter are disgusting. 

I have a son who's about 6; between the climate crisis, governments not working for the greater good, and a lot of people's lack of empathy, compassion, and kindness these days.... I worry regularly about what his life and our lives may look like ten/twenty years from now.

These are not all rasict mobs . It's bigger now it's people who have had enough.
People who pay high tax to not be able to use the service it is meant to cover. 
And young girls are attacked and pestered by non English speaking fighting/working aged men being put in hotels for free whilst our youngsters are working min wage to have nothing.
 It's a bad atmosphere here and it will get worse because as you rightly say there are disgusting people now jumping on this and they now have a place to go be violent and rasict.
 Civil war will happen of a fashion. The numbers are too high on both sides for it to blow over

well, I am looking at this from the outside. But people setting fire to hotels used for asylum seekers sound like a racist mob to me. 

Especially when the killing which sparked these riots was done by someone who was born in Cardiff, Wales. 

Edit: maybe the false information spread in this thread (as in: killer was an asylum seeker known to MI6, government won't release his name) could be corrected. In fact, the killer was born in Cardiff, Wales and a British citizen and not known prior to MI6. His name was released, also this is unusual since he was a minor at the time of the killings.

It's nothing to do with the race of the people seeking  asylum.it's the situation. The murderer is 2nd generation Rwandan asylum seeker. 
Yes some have used this as an excuse to act like idiots but there is a bigger movement happening. Many many non racist citizens have had enough . I don't condone rioting at all .
The volume of young disillusioned people is massive in  this country and they are protesting. But this gives nut case people a vessel to riot.
The murders were a catalyst because of false information yes but also these attacks are frequent on soldiers. Old people and children.
There is a history of other cultures not mixing and committing crime . Look into the rapes in Rotherham. 
Local people don't want it anymore

To add you must respect the country you are in.  If I was homosexual and I moved to Iran or Saudi or pick a country and I openly kissed my lover in the street there is a good chance I would have my life taken or imprisoned. Many examples around the world. I couldn't move to a Muslim country and start to read the bible in the street I would lose my life.But anyone can come to the UK and behave exactly as they wish and as they would in their home country. Freedom .
But when the same people choose crime and rape and hate speech many have no identity and no official way to procecute. Young people here have rules and law to live by and it's not equal because so many have come illegally and are not traceable I think this is becoming a problem for people who are already living in poverty and hopelessness here.

This started before the murders with the police being beaten and 2 female officers ending up with broken nose and other injuries in Manchester airport. 
Social media reports it as the police attacking young Muslims  stamping on their head 
Muslims protest and get violent. 
And a video emerges of what actually happened. 
The men beat and punch female police officers way before any police attempt to protect themselves and the public

Lots of stuff here I would like to comment on, but not being from the UK I refrain from it. Although I generally wonder, how many generations you have to be in a country, before your crimes will not be put into the "asylum-seeker"-column.

But I still think we should keep fake news out of this forum. So it would be great if the false information pointed out earlier could be corrected, since spreading these lies does not help anyone.

Asylum is all good when it's official and lawful. Lots of it is not .
If you lawfully seek asylum anywhere it is lawful.

Where someone is from is not relevant. It's how they behave.  English people have behaved terribly. Just as much as anyone. Not condoned

When the murders happen he could not be named for legal reasons  age.But the victims all under 9 years old were named.why
Nobody mentioned his religion.
He was named by the judge because he was an "adult" in 5 days time so it was going happen anyway except nobody knew his birth day before hand.
My actual words at the time of it happening in real time were" is what's being reported." On the TV news in this country not from the internet. The TV news on at dinner time to the whole country.
