    PA is the worst case. Primaries are closed and deliberately exclude voters outside of the two major parties. And citizens cannot initiate constitutional amendments. Change seems practically impossible on this front.

    whats interesting and little talked about, diesel by and large is down. mid $3 range in states with less road tax. when I started actively driving truck in Jan 2012 it was $4.25-4.50 range....

    so shipping costs are down. fuel being a major component of that. rates are said to be down.

    look at the corporate yr on yr revenue growth, bonuses paid to to execs and dividends paid out coupled with volume of buy back shares..... thats imo the chief driver of prices we see today

    Trump has absolutely changed the narrative at what "strength" is. It's whining. It's being a victim. It's being outraged over the littlest things. I really miss the good ol' days when being a "sore loser" was a bad thing. I even miss when they'd say "suck it up," which would be a perfect response to them when they're complaining about "happy holidays," red starbucks cups, and celebrity endorsements.
