But this type of voter fraud is ok because she did it out of love for her mother. It's not like she's an illegal or filthy liberal helping another person get to the voting booth. Or even worse, trying to mail in their ballot 2 days before the election. That's suspicious.
This is the second or third news article I’ve seen today of this happening over the past week.

I know her time is precious, but I really hope she does the Rogan podcast. After the disaster that was Trumps, I'm hopeful she may be able to sway some people.

She "should" have done Theo Vons (if that worked better with her or tim waltz schedule) (or Bill Burrs(!) or 2 bears 1 cave). There are other pods with that sphere of listeners that has huge listening numbers. But maybe she also isn't focusing as much on courting the "white male" demographic (?). Tim Waltz and Theo Von could have been great together.

But I guess if she's not in Texas, she won't hang around in LA.

Seems Trumps team was the ones figuring out actively planning in podcasts this election. The Call Her Daddy one gave her publicity. I wonder if that Sharpe(?) one will have any breakout clips. And i wonder if that one was even planned before they saw Trumps tactic.

I think we should stay the course because things are going very well

Others think things aren’t going well, but they are factually wrong. They seem to care more about feelings than facts.

Oh c'mon, this election has been nothing but the facts!

It doesn't matter who they are purging, it's a violation of the Act.  Youngkin could have done it last year, six months, etc.  He is now in the quiet period so any purging is a violation.

It violates the National Voter Registration act, but hey whatever.... people hear 'Non-citizen' and they don't care about the law anymore.

The instances of non-citizens voting is shockingly rare; if you were to do a deep dive into voter fraud, you would know this.

By pretty much any metric, things are significantly better today.

The one thing they will point to is that things cost so much more than before the pandemic....which is true across the world due to inflation issues as a result of the pandemic.....however one country has managed inflation way better than the rest of the world and that would be THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

It is a federal crime for a non-citizen to vote in a federal election.

Do you agree with Youngkin's modified argument in this case? Did you read it?

The SCOTUS stayed the order without comment.

I'm there with you.  The 4 years Trump occupied the oval office really fucked this country.  Hence SCOTUS allowing the voter purge in Virginia.  It shouldn't be like this in order to cast your vote.  Drop boxes being set on fire in Washington, because there are so many people brainwashed to believe the election process in this country is crap.

Not everyone in the 1,600 votes are "non-citizens!" They had one voter interviewed who had every bit of proof she was a citizen.  It's a knee-jerk reaction just like deporting several million people based on a whim because there is no due process to vet out everyone appropriately.

Yeah, no shit and no one's advocating for that.

I'll say it again, if you did any sort of research into voter fraud, you would already know the instances of non-citizens trying to vote is very, very rare, and not nearly enough reason to purge legitimate voters' registrations.

It's also a violation of the National Voter Registration act, but you don't care about that because you've been brainwashed into thinking that non-citizens are a threat to you, so f the law.

    You've been duped, again.

Is there anyone here who isn't expecting violence next week?

This is new in the last 8 years.... I don't ever recall expecting violence around elections before trump came along.

I'm expecting it.  I'm purposely waiting to vote on Tuesday because I want to stare down anyone who wants and tell to fuck off from trying to intimidate me from voting.  It shouldn't be this way.

Let's circle back to Biden sticking his foot in his mouth.

This is what infuriated me about that debate in June. He obviously struggled, but sort of found his footing in the second half as TFG gradually lost his momentum and started looking like his true self. Then they asked Trump about how old he is, and he started talking about golf. I was thinking "here we go, maybe this won't end up being quite that big of a catastrophe". Then Biden comes back talking about his golf game. That's when I was done.

Here he goes again - they screw up and insult a crucial voting bloc, and Biden just can't let them have the loss. Anyway, he's already off the ticket so I don't really understand how this would impact anything, but it's anything but an even contest in terms of the impact of mistakes that are made.

It's possible there's a decent amount of voters who consider Harris a continuation of Biden's tenure and may believe she feels the same as him.  It really should not be associated with Harris.

You mean like in 2017:  CBSNews 1/21/17

WASHINGTON -- Protesters registered their rage against the new president Friday in a chaotic confrontation with police who used pepper spray and stun grenades in a melee just blocks from Donald Trump’s inaugural parade route. Scores were arrested for trashing property and attacking officers.

It's not a good idea to ever disparage anyone but your opponent.  But at the same time,, it's not like the PR comments. Trump supporters by definition were not voting for Harris.  So certainly less damage.

He's been garbling his words and making gaffes like this our entire lives. But to have him do it at this moment is fucking incredible. Good for Kamala to come out and say what she said this morning.
