GA List

The PJ GA list is a joke. These fans (GA rail
bullies) make this list and even if you show up and there two people lined up there they tell you that you are number 100 on list. It’s always the same people on the rail and no one else gets a chance. They have this clipboard and dictate to everyone who isn’t in their group the way it’s going to be. The band needs to know that this is happening. One day these list dictators are going to get it by someone who won’t get pushed around. When you question them they say that’s the way it always has been. Selfish PJ stalkers

Don't disagree. Have plenty of thoughts about it, glad someone brought it up. Seems like there are some other bands out there that have decent systems in place that ensure different faces on the rail.

Have decided to not focus on GA anymore. The shows are still great, anywhere on the floor and the lower bowl.

Hope you still enjoyed the shows.

I was not aware of a list but if I ever manage to get my hands on GA tickets (fingers crossed, ISO Wrigley N2 lol) there's no way I'm letting anyone tell me where I can stand. Unless Eddie Vedder himself comes down and tells me I have to move, I'm going to be as close to the rail as I can get

Had not heard about this. We usually get a feel for wherever they’re playing, don’t want to waste all day just to be that close. But, this makes me want to, just to have someone try to tell me there are people ahead of me that aren’t there.

    It is an absolute joke.

It does not matter though since the regulars are friends with 10C security.

They sneak them into the pit when they don't have GA. They sneak them into the pit early when their are shows like Amsterdam N2 and no 10C tickets. They used a list between shows which us regular fans are not allowed to use in Vegas and 10C was absolutely fine with it cause its "them"

An absolute joke and 10C does not give a shit.

Yeah I would like to see them do some type of randomization of numbers like some other artists have done.  These ga list people can be very annoying and and just kind of weird really.  And they don’t even stand in the line the whole time.  Like they pick some arbitrary point and decide ok everyone here by this time gets a number and your free to go about your day and come back and get your same spot.  There is no list.  No one gave you that job.

Vegas was different due to the rules in Vegas with loitering.

The Eddie fanboys and fangirls needed to make sure they had "their" spot so they came up with this list method to ensure no one else got the rail ahead of them. This is all done with 10C security knowing and they have the numbers so people that come in one or two at a time cant do a thing about it.

Eddie and the band must love it though. They see the same faces every night in front of them and they continue to use this method of people acting like they are homeless for 3 weeks to get rail every night.

Sounds exactly like something someone on the list would say.

Vancouver was nothing like Vegas for GA shenanigans. Not even close. It did not need to be since it was so easy to get rail there. The fun begins when it gets a little tougher and others might have a shot at it.

Apparently this is the new thread, six years later there’s at least somewhat of a problem.

Except if you are the front elite. Or protected by 10C security.

Amsterdam N2 escorted into the pit in front of everyone else by 10C security. This is who we are competing with to get rail. We don't stand a chance

Wanna know the worst kind as I've seen this many, many times these past few tours? Especially back in 2022. While us old reserved seated folks wait in line for hours outside to purchase Pearl Jam merchandise, many folks that are in the GA line / list, especially the first 40 or so who you see on the rail, come up & line up with a buddy they know who are very, very close in the merch line. They come & go from the GA / merch lines every few minutes before the merch opens. Does Mr. TSURT / Pearl Jam management do anything to stop this? Nope.

Or what about the GA folks you see at the Wishlist Foundation parties in the afternoon? I've seen many who come & stay for a while who later you see are in the front row at the show. This doesn't make any sense but it's happening. 10club / Pearl Jam management knows it's happening.

I challenged a dude who was sleeping in his car at the front of the line and made himself the leader of the list. By self appointment and nearly ended up in a fist fight with the ignorant twat. It's this elite entitled mind set some pj fans seem to have. It's not enough for them to get rail it's an obsession

Yes Amsterdam was a shit show, there was no attempt to disguise it, but then if you know the security and they can pull those favours then its not really a surprise. I will say however the geezer in question there had been there all night and pulled that favour only when the entry system went wrong, and the order people had queued was being disregarded (much to the horror of the overnighters). After assuring those around them however that the Pj security team would sort it, he did then quickly disappear when the doors timing got close.

He is a diligent queue dude though and definitely puts his shift in. It doesnt make it right but he isnt one to abuse the system and does indeed earn his spot. His dedication to it is unreal.

On another note its hard to believe the list is back and operational again, that whole thing always was a bit of a shit show and i thought it had moved on over the years. Hopefully it was just specific to LV

Its a bunch of obsessed euros, we almost kicked the shit out of them in Phila 13. Needless to say, we kept our spots in the front of the line and refused to let some euro write on us.

I wonder if they were same people at Brooklyn 1 and 2.    I was in ga night one and people left the show early to line up for night 2.

This has been a problem for years with bands like U2 and Springsteen.
It has been argued/suggested for multiple tours that PJ should go the old  Springstern G.A. route of random lottery.

However, the pit for Springsteen arena shows is so small now there is no need to be on the rail.

I would be good with seating...no pit.

When I get GA I hang out at the back of the crowd so I'm not worried about rail, etc. although being front row (seating) would be nice. I scored 10th row years ago when the 1st and 10th rows were total lottery and that was great.

I’d be good with going back to this also.  Remove GA.  Randomize rows 1,2, 10,11.  Would just save so many wasted hours of just sitting on the sidewalk and not having to fight to get your spot back when you have to take a piss.

Imagine if 10C gave up the best section in the house for seats.

This happens all of the time and no they do not do a thing about it.

Also the same group of people let their friends who have not waited all day in the GA line in with them. But don't worry they are just going in to get merch early and sitting at the back of the pit.

I don’t think this is needed.  I know for a fact that I can show up at 5:30pm and get within 4 rows of the stage.  I would rather have that option than hope I can win the lottery once every 5 years and get the 10th row.

Plus, GA allows more friends to hang together at a show than being separated in seating.

if you want to give up your day to stand two feet closer to the stage, then go for it.  Ed is not thinking about you when he is surfing in Hawaii.  We probably are because we listen to PJ music every day, but Mike is not thinking about that guitar pick he threw to you in Tulsa or that creative t-shirt you wore.

it's reasons like this and the absurd cost of tickets that i've had no interest in going to see pj after my last shows in 2018
