I'm good with it. At least for this tour, its the Dark Matter tour. Play it the way they intended to be played. I'll still get surprised by openers, set 1 closers, encores, etc. This makes me feel good at least knowing I will get to basically hear almost all of side a of the new album.
Doing 9 shows this year I def disagree.
Doing 14 shows, and couldn’t give two shits. I love Dark Matter, and look forward to hear the songs evolve. They will do a great job of rotating the other songs.
It’s a wonderful thing to actively look forward to the new songs, vs hope for the 2-3 ok ones like the last 3 albums.

No one cares that they're repeating the songs, the album's so good they could play the whole album every night...just mix the songs up, it's not rocket science and yeah 4 songs/16% is too much to know!

It is a step in the wrong direction as far as setlists being varied is concerned.
Is it Foo Fighters territory? Not even close. But it is definitely not what we are used to from these guys. I look forward to hearing the songs as well and they could play the 4 every night if they want. Just an odd choice I guess doing them all in a row in the same spot for the first 3 shows.
Only similarities (so far) are 5-8 for these three shows, and DTE the third song of the encore and Setting Sun as closer for the first two?
And Alive's traditional spot. So that's about a quarter of the show. That leaves a lot of unknown, so that's great. I'm trying to no knock it. Just not used to it.
