I fuckn love Present Tense. It’s a top 5 for me, but am I the only one who can’t stand the way Matt plays it? I’ve never heard a recent version that didn’t sound off or awkward. Always hopeful that they’ll nail it, but I dunno. The way Jack played that was so uniquely powerful. They just kind of rush through it.

Yeah, I'm pretty disappointed. I will be excited to hear it for the first time, but kind of sucks with back to back shows and more planned. I guess it could make the anticipation for the unknowns that much more, but it's nearly a fifth of the show we now know what it is. Very not what we're used to.

Quoting myself. In 33 years seeing this band I don't recall them ever playing the same 4 songs in the same spots 3 shows in a row. Probably have but, I doubt it, it needs to stop.
