Pretty good! Kind of wished they would have showed the baseball stuff at the end!

    Good interview.

This one didn’t do it for me. Ed and Jeff were great but Bill brought nothing to the table other than reminiscing about the 90s. Zane Lowe was miles better as an interviewer.

Pretty good listen, enjoyed it more than Stern but not nearly as much as Lowe

Bill is just talking to his friends. That makes it a different kind of conversation.

Some parts very good (Jeff & Ed fully engaged), other parts meh (blank stares).
Still worth a listen, but other interviews were much better.

Wow! The Bill Simmons Interview and the Zane Lowe Interview were both so much better than Howard Stern.

There were kind of a few moments where it seemed like Ed couldnt stand Simmons, which is... relatable

I couldn’t get through the Simmons interview. At least stern had 4 incredible performances

I thought Jeff came off great. Ed and Bill didn't seem to gel at all, but still some good stuff.

I totally repect your opinion, but I just felt Stern knew nothing about Pearl Jam and the band members knew it.
    Bill asked some great questions.

Stern and Simmons both weren’t great.  They are fans, but didn’t do their homework.  Not getting Ed’s answer of “Polaroids” was so telling.

Best part was around the 30 min mark. Going deep on why the band has survived.

I totally get it. I think stern was off his game but at the very least we got some incredible performances

    Yellow Ledbetter was the bomb!
Thank the Lord Stern didn't ask for Last Kiss.

I don’t dare to listen to this now… if it comes off as awkward..?

It's awkward at times, but there's some good nuggets in there.

I hung in there for a while, but after Simmons suggested Ed should go on Instagram and rate the wine he drinks, I was done. Cringe.

Last time EV was on Simmons' podcast (Gigaton release), Simmons suggested that Eddie released Dance of the Clairvoyants as the first single off the album in order to trick or throw fans off the scent of what the album was going to be like. I remember at the time I thought Ed took it pretty personally... He said he would never do that to their fans and the rest of the interview was tiny bit awkward. I wonder if that carried over. It's also entirely possible I have no idea what I am saying. Good night.

Very poor interviewer. I'm amazed Ed and Jeff had the patience for that.

"Friends" and "fellow celebrities" are not the same thing. If Bill Simmons was just a guy, and not a mega-successful guy with a media empire and the status that comes with it, Ed and Jeff would not be hanging out with him.

Yes, of course. My bad. I had No Code on the brain because I was replying to the thing about the Polaroids.

That was a free masterclass of how to make Eddie feel uncomfortable.
