100%. But also, even thought the first week of school was nuts this year, it was still incredible.
Agreed! For both MSG shows, I drove to Trenton after teaching and took the Amtrak up to the garden. Drove home after each show. Didn’t take off and the Thursday after those shows was Back to School Night. Then followed it with both Philly shows. Exhausted as hell that Tuesday but would do it again in a heartbeat
Any chance the Nashville shows are not at Bridgestone and they opt for an outdoor venue? Multiple 7k venues or could step it up and play the soccer stadium .. or play the new Pinnacle venue which is a little less than Hard Rock in FL?

Heard only FL is small venue
I also want to note that April in the South is tornado and thunderstorm season. Please let these shows be indoors.

The Seminole Hard Rock in Hollywood, FL is a very small venue for a band like PJ especially given their usual penchant for playing at arenas & baseball stadiums. The only larger venues in the area for them to play at would be Amerant Arena in Sunrise where the Panthers hockey play; the arena where the Miami Heat play (name escapes me); Baseball stadium for the Marlins; and the Hard Rock Stadium where the Dolphins play.
This sounds pretty good?! 👍 PS. Hilton Nashville (next to Bridgestone arena) sold out that week in May, just checked …
This would put them in the area for Boston Calling May 23-25 especially if they squeezed in another stop. Maybe that's where Canada fits?
If this list is accurate, then it makes financial sense for the band for there to be 1-2 festivals somewhere in the mix. Having 4 days off between Atlanta and Nashville makes no sense unless something like JazzFest is scheduled there

If these dates are right I’d be very surprised if they weren’t at Jazz fest

Science teacher too. And feel the same. But wouldn’t most jobs? Most people work M-F and a lot of people travel to see this band. Both Atlanta and Nashville are about 3 hour drives. But I will have to take off 2 days to make each show! So out of 4 shows that are relatively close, I’ll make maybe 1. Make it a Friday/Sunday and I’d make them all.

They should come to more centrally located Orlando. The Magic's Kia Center holds 20K...same as Heat and Panthers.

I saw someone commenting that April in Florida is the High Point for storms and tornado season. As someone who’s lived in this area for a decade, I can guarantee that both of those things are false. We don’t even have a tornado season and especially not near Miami.

As someone who works at the Kia center, I would probably die if this happened

They said the South, not Florida. And for the cities in the South (Atlanta, Raleigh, Nashville) they are correct.

Exactly. Middle of the week makes it harder for me as well, especially since I'm in the northeast and the semester ends early May. Make them weekend shows and I'll be able to fly in Thursday or Friday and still be in the classroom Monday.
