A fake poster sparks outrage over how to use “The” in CD organizing.
Rumors mill is about as dried up as it gets.
Next come the movie quotes again
but for real if you put ANY band starting with “The” in the Ts, you’re a monster.
For shits and giggles we can make up a wild rumor & watch AltNation pick it up and run with it. 🤣
A reliable source told me that Pearl Jam is planning a show in Greenland to coincide with next Saturday's total solar eclipse.
If I head out now, will I get rail?

record stores, in my experience, disagree with the "namesake" order. they put Dave Matthews Band under D.
Hugh Freaking Dillon is currently out of the office, returning sometime in the fall

Yep. I think MLA would agree with this as well.

I think 🇨🇦 dates in fall are looking bleak.. Korn and a few other bands are playing in September and October all throughout Canada.

For my fellow Canadians - are you still attending shows this spring or nah?

Hopeful for something this side of the border..sooner than later but not looking likely.

    I am still going.

I have the least excitement for PJ shows that I ever had prior to new shows though. If I cancelled my trip I would lose no sleep over it and still may.

I think the Soldier Field show in Chicago may actually be a thing, and Maybe a theoretical date. Just hear me out.
    - PJ typically plays in Chicago the last week of August or the first week of September.
    - pretty much every day of that last week of August is booked at SF except Tuesday the 26th and Wednesday the 27th. PJ likes to play Tuesdays and Thursdays typically.
    - Oasis initially had plans to play 2 shows at SF, but are only doing 1. When asked if they would add a second date Liam said that there was nothing else available for that week, as it was booked up.
    - we know PJ likes to announce their shows 4-5 months in advance( last minute)
    - we know every other show that was dated for that week has announced, and clearly based off dates that they can flip the stages quick.
    - that week is also packed with shows everywhere else, which means lots of people from out of town.

My prediction: A PJ35 or anniversary show of some kind on Tuesday August 26th at Soldier Field. With 1 day off between PJ and Oasis for a probably elaborate stage.

I feel like the soldier field show could happen.  I just don’t see the PJ35 portion of it though.  Just because they don’t seem overly sentimental about such things these days.

Yes, we're still going. I refuse to let the orange one dictate where I find joy in my life. We will be keeping a low profile and leaving anything Canadiana at home. No Tragically Hip t-shirts, No PJ t-shirts from Canadian show dates. If things get even uglier between now and then, we'll re-evaluate. Hopefully my "eh's?" don't give me away.  ;)

    Nah
My wife and I are going to Pittsburgh. We only have night 2. Hopefully we'll get night 1 resolved soon. It's a tough ticket.
