Awesome poster. I personally like Vancouver N1 better, but this comic book vibe is very cool.

Nice Jersey but I think the posters have been quite weak so far, im sure most might disagree and obviously art is subjective but so far, the 3 tour posters are just a bit...meh

The Portland poster is okay, not exceptional or bad in my mind.  Definitely better than last year’s Austin 1 poster.

Anyone know the brand for the duffel? Not expecting Patagonia (would be all over it were that the case) but hope it would hold up ok. Having said that my PJ black hole is getting holes in the surface material near the zips. Bugger it.
Did anyone have the answer for this?
I don't know the brand for it, but I work for Patagonia. We offer free repairs for all of our products. If you want to send me a DM I am happy to help you talk through some options with that bag (I also have the PJ Black Hole backpack)
Thats really great to know, I was hoping the new one was Patagonia too. I have the Pj20 backpack and considering its 13 years old its pretty much in perfect condition still, amazing quality

I really like the first one, the second was reasonable, this one is terrible.

Im going 1/1/1 so far in the win/draw/loss categories ;)

Just spitballing - logging has been a staple industry around Portland and the PNW in general for over a century (see, e.g., "Sometimes a Great Notion" by Ken Kesey). The imagery is reminiscent of a Lorax type figure, a spirit of the trees. There may be some local tribe mythology it's drawn from too, not sure.

I don’t think people can expect them all to be good. Always going to be a mix

I think it's more that tastes are different and over a given tour different prints are favorites for different people

True, but it's disappointing when the show you attend has the one that's not great.   At least when there's multiple shows in the same city, you can frame the better one :)

Especially with the proliferation of bands that are doing posters now and without making an effort to hire the best (even when the best happens to live in the event city). When there are 50 new gig prints every week for various bands, the talent pool and great creative ideas become diluted

I have taken the stance of subbing out a different poster from the same tour if i don't like the one for which i attended.  Makes for good conversational piece too.  Last tour STP1 was dreadfull, subbed it with Austin1 and that hangs on the wall in place of the dreadfull STP1 still in the shop.

Technically, the band is 33 1/2 yrs old give or take a month. That or Scottie Pippen?

I don’t like them either. They are obviously done by talented artists but I just don’t connect or relate to the images at all.
