I was told by a store owner that I trust 100% that only approx 500 copies were distributed to UK indies. We have around 300 independent record stores partaking in RSD, so unfortunately most of us wouldn’t have stood a chance.

My record store (Ditch Records) posted on Facebook last night that they got 11 copies. I showed up about 75 minutes before they opened, and was 40th (give or take) in line. Got the 2nd to last one. The more important part was they only got 20 copies of the Tragically Hip live album, and I got one of those
Of course, my local record store isn't going to have a copy, so I called one an hour away and they said they will have it tomorrow and they open at 8am.
Then he told me that there were already 4 people in line outside.
I don't really have a desire to camp out on a sidewalk in 40 degree weather and now I'm also worried I won't get one, but kudos to those with a stronger will than me!
Ok, so I was 50th in line when I showed up this morning before 8am and struck out. Took my chance on my 2nd choice and was lucky and they had 6 left when I got through line. Not sure how many more they had, but so glad I drove over there and took the chance.

I didn’t go out for RSD until afternoon. My store had nothing and said they sold 40 copies within the first hour. I took a drive to another store a few towns away and found the last copy of a Blue and Red Galaxy version sitting on the shelf. Only $45 too! I’ll happily take that one of 1500 over the 15,000 RSD version.

I bought it from this store this morning in person and they just loaded their leftovers online. Great spot in NYC.
