RSD release

Of course, my local record store isn't going to have a copy, so I called one an hour away and they said they will have it tomorrow and they open at 8am.

Then he told me that there were already 4 people in line outside.

I don't really have a desire to camp out on a sidewalk in 40 degree weather and now I'm also worried I won't get one, but kudos to those with a stronger will than me!

15000 copies should be easy to find on line.

Anyone know online RSD stores that sell on RSD? As opposed to a day or 2 later. Thanks!

I don’t think they’re allowed to sell online before Monday

Rough Trade goes on sale Sunday so I don't think that is correct.

There are many sites that put up excess stock on Saturday night. On a side note, if you live in CT, there were still several copies available at Uncle Joe's records in Cornwall and no line when I left this morning. He will likely have extras on his site: https://www.unclejoesrecords.com/

All the RSD copies were sold out in my town but one shop had the Red White and Blue variant so I grabbed it.

  • My suburban Chicago shop had four Philadelphia variants and one Chicago variant, but NOT the official RSD version.  Very odd.

All sold out very early at stores in the North-East of England. Wasn’t able to get one unfortunately.

Even though quite a number of RSD versions were pressed worldwide, I heard that the UK only had about 500 copies. There are more than 300 indie stores in the UK so probably only one or two copies per shop, so unfortunately seems to be much rarer in the UK than in the US and other parts of the world.
