  • Shoot, I missed this post until now and just missed the episode. Used to watch this show years ago, had no idea it was back on again.  Doesn’t seem like they show repeats often.

There’s a kind of dorky show on MeTV called Collector’s Call and it’s hosted by Lisa Whelchel formerly of Facts of Life.  Every week they feature a collection of stuff - mostly pop culture… movie, tv or music  memorabilia, toys, and stuff like that.  Each episode they will explore the persons collection and have them tell stories about how they acquired certain items and what they paid for them.  They have an expert there who will give a current value for each item and the collection as a whole.  Like I said… kind of dorky.
Anyway… I was watching this morning and noticed during the intro they changed the show logo for the current season.  The logo is a like a toy playhouse with different collections in each room.  In the bottom right corner room of the house there is now a PJ crackerjack poster, a Pearl Jam surfboard, a guitar, a set of drums and some other stuff I can’t make out.  I did some googling and was pleased to see that someone’s (Seattle Batman?) Pearl Jam collection is going to be featured in an episode this season.  😁

I knew it was Shons as soon as I saw the surfboard.

Hopefully someone can post the full episode link.  Would love to see this!

We don't know the whole story. It might not have been dry mounted. Perhaps they thought it would make a stronger episode if they educated people about dry mounting. The magic of television. That might have been Shon's ticket, too. We might never know.
