It's too bad that the week that PJ is at MSG is Labor Day week because they (PJ) have that Monday off and could totally visit Stern in studio on Monday, except he'll probably be on vacation.
Heard the whole interview on Sirius after work today. Great stuff. Hope they go on again. Would've been funny if Stern requested Stupid Mop. I can see them all hanging out w/Stern if Stern is in NY for some reason at some point.

Agreed! I liked that song the second I heard it. This live version sounds better than the album!
I couldn’t agree with you more. This live version is absolutely brilliant. Having audio-digested the song for a week it was a thrill to see them play it live. I had a constant smile on my face watching it loud on my headphones. Incredible performance and agree it sounds better than the studio version.

Wouldn't they have to do some East coast press at some time (SNL, Colbert, Conans pod* etc?)
* or is that maybe in LA? No, it should be east coast...
"Mostly I think that people react sensitively because they know you’ve got a point"
I think this was the first time I clearly heard "boxer or the bag." I always debated if it was "box or the bag" vs "boxer or the bag," never could tell before now.
It's box but he changed it to boxer because of the interview he did with Howard where Howard thought it was boxer
I have heard both box and boxer at shows, before the *(previous) interview with Howard. But it did seem he was making a point to enunciate "boxer" this time, for Howard's benefit.
* I also agree this live version of Scared Of Fear sounds better than any of the others I've heard (record, theater).

Stern is in NY
His station is, but I was under the impression that he did live remotes from Florida and still does them due to the pandemic.

No. He finally left his house and did some shows in the new Miami SiriusXM studios. But he's in NY.

According to the Pearl Jam Anthology, the lyrics are "as felt by Eddie Vedder," so it's whatever he says it is that day. It's Pearl Jam's version of John Cage's 4'33", but louder.

Yea but going by the studio version and what he said on Howard in 2020
Just to confirm for those of us that don't have the SiriusXM perineum subscription, the full video broadcast hasn't yet been posted on the SiriusXM app. Correct?

I find the app to be awful to navigate and find stuff.

I never really paid attention to Stern, I think the first time I knew he interviews musicians and is a thing was when FF went on and they played Times Like These. All I knew Stern from was clips I've seen or heard where he dares a dad to bleach his daughter's a-hole in his studio, or had a game of strip poker between a brother and sister, and weird stuff like that. That's all I thought his show was, so it was surprising and funny to me to see these rock stars start coming on and being a big thing. Has he changed, is that stuff his style when not interviewing stars? I always thought of him as this perky older guy. Not knowing the context and how I perceive the guy, the porn question would seem weird. But maybe that's not his thing anymore. I never have listened to him other than clips on YouTube where bands I like play.

Those new songs are fantastic.
