TicketMaster F2F Question

  • Yes. It will be via TM just as you would search for any other tickets. They make it sound like it is a separate portal but it’s not. Tickets probably won’t be available until much closer to the show though (maybe a month or two). So don’t expect to find tickets a week after public sale sells out. At least that wasn’t the case with Taylor Hawkins LA show. You will need to be patient. It does seem like there will be a lot of shuffling of tickets.

How difficult do you think it will be to get F2F for LA Night 1?  Struck out, would still like to make the trip to LA.
There will be tons of activity, with many looking to upgrade what they get. You'll score if you keep at it.

F2F is open to anyone. It’s just like buying any other ticket on TM except it’s random when tickets pop up. Best thing to do is install a chrome add on that refreshes the page every few seconds and let it run on a second monitor.
Those auto refreshers tend to get you botted and aren't that useful if someone else is on the page manually

I’ve got my tickets to Portland, but am tempted to try to get another pair during the verified fan sale on Friday for friends who may not be able to get them on their own. Is sharing your Ticketmaster log in the only work around sharing them? Or can you all show up together so you scan the tickets all at once and then go to your respective seats?
You can also enter with them and text them a screenshot of the seat location info, so they can show it to ushers if need be and find their own way to the seats.

‘Scuse my ignorance - how do I get into the F2F? I have t used it before.
My friend and i each have a pair for the Portland show. Because we each have one of the pairs, we can walk in with another fan, etc.
    I/we need a ticket/tickets for the Seattle show(s) - We live there.
GA preferably - but hey, beggars …
When they activate F2F we'll get the instructions again.

Just did my first F2F sale last summer when I couldn’t make it to Austin. You can’t sell them to a specific person, you just release them and they’re available to anyone. BUT, if you and your friend pick a low traffic time (late night/early morning, etc) and they know where your seats are, they can be ready to load the page as soon as you hit “sell.” I sold mine to a fellow 10C member this way. Not 100% foolproof but worked well.
Is anyone eligible to purchase from the fantofan or is it only tenclub / people who registered?
    Anyone

You can all show up together and scan the tickets at once and go to your respective seats. Once you're inside, you can send screenshots to everyone in the group if they need to show the ticket to get into a section. But if the tickets are a mix of GA and reserve it could be tricky because GA has a separate entrance and can go in earlier.

I think I just planned on giving you my login to avoid the headaches of it not working.
I just gave out my login when I had tickets for other iphone users who weren't walking in with me. I was able to do a wallet download on android phones though.

I hated the F2F sale the last time around. Fpund someone who was willing to "meet up" at a certain time late in the evening, got note of when the tickets would drop, and they got snagged away by someone else within two seconds. I would enjoy it if the tickets were more easily transferable.

I'm wondering if anyone knows the correct interpretation of:

". However, you must have a valid bank account or debit card within the country of the event(s) in order to sell through the Fan-to-Fan Face Value Ticket Exchange."

I'm a Canadian with Fenway tickets that I am unsure if I will be able to use.
Option 1: As Canadians, we can open an "American dollar bank account" but it would not be at a bank with its headquarters in tne US.
Option 2: I have American friends that could help through the process, but I'm wondering if the account has to be in the ticket holders name.

Any insight is much appreciated 🙏

lol, the whole point is so you can't dictate who they go to, so you can't ask for extra on them.  The whole thing works on it going to a random person.

If you make tickets transferable, they can be resold for more money.  It's a trade off really.

Say I have a friend with tickets to Philly N2. If he cannot use them and wants to sell them at face value to me, will we be able to do that via F2F?
Specifically, if someone is selling via F2F, can the seller designate who the buyer is or do the tickets just go up for sale to whoever grabs them first?
I've heard of people trying to co-ordinate times. But as soon as you post the tickets to your friend, somebody snatches them up in 10 seconds. It's a tricky thing to do.Wish you the best of luck.

Thanks! I was going to ask what strategy people had for F2F. Do you know the name of the Chrome add on?

Unfortunately I got shut of the lottery as well, 1st time it’s happened in lottery era. Anyways haven’t had to use F2F before, I hope it’s not incredibly hard to get tickets and at this point just want to be in the building as I have travel plans half booked at this point. Wife and I planned on going to Vegas, so hopefully there will be some available. Fingers crossed

@dmbolp, was the ticket ever in your wallet first? See below from TM website-

You may be attempting to add tickets that are already in someone else's wallet. Any tickets purchased from an individual Ticketmaster account can only be linked to one Apple ID. If you need to send another fan a ticket
No, I did not put it in the wallet on my phone first.  Bought it on my laptop and then logged in to my TM on her phone.  And it allowed me to load it to her wallet.

Has anyone ever done a F2F swap? I got both LA nights and can’t attend either, but would love to swap for Portland, Vegas, Sac, Philly or MSG night 2.  Has anyone done this before?

Swap...sale...call it whatever you want.  You'd need someone else comfortable sharing their TM credentials , and you with them.  It Happens.

There will be. If you just want to be in the building, you will definitely get tickets. People with 200 level will be looking to upgrade to 100s and everyone will be trying to upgrade to GA. The dominos start to fall. Then standard admission drops start and premiums fall to standard as well. It just takes some time and commitment and you will score.
