Two days since LV2. I hope the couple in section 24 row T have finally shut the fuck up.

Yeah this lady next to me was double fisting and bullshitting with this guy, in GA about 15' from Mike McCready, non-stop. Also the first couple songs three people in front of us were all video-ing on their huge phones. The lady next to my wife wore brand new Steve Madden shoes to the show, which broke, and she was standing their barefoot (also one of the phone people). People are crazy.

The land of girls walking around in thongs. What a strange place. Pretty fun though!
Definitely saw a lot more bare asses in three days than you would expect.  Not complaining.
Thank EDC for being the same weekend.
Some very interesting concert outfits for EDC.....asses hanging out everywhere.  I really hope my daughters don't get into EDM music when they get older.  Hadn't been to Vegas in 6-7 years...turns out it is still incredible.  The monorail was great especially getting to and from the show.  Nice and easy.
Second the monorail being very helpful.

I don't think the thong thing was just related to EDC. Some of the restaurants had signs up basically saying "you can't eat here if you cheeks are hanging out."

Could have been worse. You could have been in Section 12 with the guy who decided to puke literally EVERYWHERE moments before PJ hit the stage. Those cleaning crews are not paid nearly enough. I am talking projectile.
Is that why about four full rows weren’t able to sit until almost minute of? I was saying “Looks sold out….except down there.”

Such a great weekend! I had amazing seats for Thursday's show. Saw Shania Twain from the 2nd row on Friday. Then had meh seats for Saturday's show. The music sounds just as good from the cheap seats!
3 great shows in 3 nights and I couldn't be happier. And for a change we were actually up in gambling There was a 'crazy rich asians' slot machine in Excalibur that kept hitting for us throughout the whole trip.
I did wake up yesterday morning with a nasty cold. Oh well, I guess I have to pay for all the weekend fun.

Not sure if it's a cold but definitely recovering from some sort of dry throat thingie. I really empathized with Eddie at the second show. Us folks from these wet climates are gonna struggle with the desert.

I joke about yearly trips to the PNW to "rehydrate." Looking forward to highs in the 50s/60s next week!

Heck of a weekend and for the record - I'll take 95 degrees and no humidity all day long over 90 degrees with 100% humidity and a dew point north of 70 as we get here July-Sept.  We ended up renting a car on Sunday and drove to Death Valley to find the U2 Joshua Tree memorial in the desert.
It was great people-watching with all the rave outfits - When we checked in to the hotel, a bride/groom (still in their attire) checked in and 4 women, all wearing assless chaps, were behind them in line.

definitely saw some unique and 'minimalistic' clothing choices at Excalibur on Friday as I was walking to my car to go and find dinner. I keep to myself, head down (knowing the walkway, glance up every so often to not bump into anyone), get to the cross-walk to the garage and saw what could only be described as a silver headband around someone's hips with the rest just hanging out.

On the flip side, up early on the Saturday, seeing the groups of people slowly roll back in from the night at EDC.

Had a great time - but fighting the time change here on the east coast today. I used to love Vegas - it just isn't what it used to be. I loved the Tropicana.

If anyone ever out that way again, I'd recommend Buldogi's egg drop breakfast sandwich, Carson Kitchen (just off of Fremont), Dynamite Korean and Sushi (I think that was the name) and Frankenson's Pizza. If you follow Keith Lee on TikTok, some of these may sound familiar. Didn't have time to do Frankenson's this trip - but was good last trip.

Was on the floor just below you guys and saw this unfold before my eyes. Could not agree more about the event staff not getting paid enough. Also how quickly they jumped in and got it taken care of. Hope you guys still had a great night!

Between that, the venue being near the pool at MGM Grand, and the Melanie Martinez crowd the people watching was a 10/10 for this trip.
I took my daughter to Melanie ..she was wishing she had one of those dresses on.

And I kept having ppl with gigantic floaties running into me on way to arena. Crazy Vegas

Fellow Trop fan here. Have a lot of great memories there. On Saturday, I went to the liquidation sale. It was surreal. All the casino equipment had been cleared out, and the place is in the process of being demolished. They had all of the furniture and fixtures piled up throughout the first floor. They were practically giving some of the stuff away. Desks from the hotel rooms? One dollar. Dressers? Eight dollars? Forty-two inch flat-panel LG TVs? Fifty-five dollars. Seats from the theater? Seventy-five dollars. There were just hundreds and hundreds of items, and all the commercial kitchen equipment and the high-end audio production equipment. (That stuff was more expensive.) Pillows, ottomans, chaise longues, artwork, etc., etc. It was nice to be able to walk through there one last time.
I gather speed from you fucking with me.

Vegas was a hoot. Did the Thursday show. Was great to get HTI, Breakerfall, Breath, and Temor Christ. The new stuff live is fantastic! Did Dead & Co. at the Sphere on Friday. Had a blast! That venue is mind boggling. Felt a bit of regret not taking up the chocolate mushroom bar the guy sitting next to me offered though. Wandered through the Bellagio after the Dead and a very nice and classy looking lady ask if I needed some company. The gentleman in me politely declined and thanked her for the offer. Good times!

Timing didn't work out for me.. I wanted to. I got some cool pics of the demo (and some of the tower still having lights on at night as if people still staying there). Wonder if I could have found something small to bring back with me, but by the sounds of it, it's only large items.

I should have figured a way to get in. This weekend looks to be similar. But $100 to fill a cube van. Could be great deals to be had.

Counting down the days till I see my next show.. nYC.
