Any insight into which would be better for people of average height? I know - terrible issue to have to be picking between lower level seats at this point in the proceedings - forgive our luck.

I'd think the lowers would provide a bit better view just because of the elevation. But distance appears pretty similar. Why not do floor one night and lowers the other and experience both?
I bet it's easier to allocate everything randomly without regard to who won other shows, than it is to take the time try to appease as many fans as possible.
I'm sure it is easier. The problem is that easier isn't better. Long standing 10c club members have an expectation, despite what the terms and conditions say, that those decades of 10c membership will mean something. Taking the time to design a lottery that satisfies as many people as possible, especially if seniority was no longer going to be honored, would have been the right thing to do.
I'm sure the band is aware of the problems. It probably drives them crazy. They are musicians not data scientists.
Hope everyone gets what they want.
Seniority has never been honored in the way you keep implying. It only matters for seat allocation within a section once tickets are procured. It does not matter for ticket procurement and it never has. Longstanding Ten Club members should not have an expectation that seniority will entitle them to tickets, because it does not and it never has.
philly 2 on a 174k. Not GA, but the closest seat to it. .
Front row reserved floor is one of the best things you can get. Congrats, and if you need a +1, …

so far we only have 1 documented (allegedly ) of someone with a newer membership getting seats in the row in front of someone with an older membership. Was this a mistake, typo, or conspiracy theory?
The amount of grown adult crybabies in here is crazy
Please expand. What specifically are people out of line about? I'm not trying to be rude, I'm just wondering what frustrations in your mind are unjust? I think this has been a worse process than the days of prioritizing shows... and I'm sure that system had its flaws. At this point, I am definitely in the "you win some, you lose some" camp. It's changed so much through my 28 years of being in the fan club, that I just kind of roll with it. But I do understand why folks are frustrated... and now it sounds like priority seating questions are popping up now that seat locations are being revealed. The never-ending Pearl Jam - Ticketmaster debacle.

Someone pointed out that it probably has to do with getting the eastern time zone done first as they are the earliest ticket sales tomorrow.
For a company making cash hand over fist, they certainly can't hold a candle to an intern with a knowledge of excel spreadsheets.
