So 55-60k according to hitsdailydouble.com. That should land them around 5-6. But other Taylor Swift albums are getting bumps. So I could see her taking the whole top 10
You know, I had a recollection of this kind of bump happening for her prior releases, but I went back and looked and it didn't actually happen. All of her other titles fell in the first week of Midnights' release. Regardless, there's no way she's taking the whole top ten on the Billboard 200 but on the Hot 100, it's very possible; she did it once before.
I think this album will have significant appeal to people who aren't "real" Pearl Jam fans, because several of the songs on Dark Matter seem widely marketable.
Important caveat: these are preliminary estimates from Hits Daily Double. These are not the official data from Luminate. The actual numbers will be available Sunday and will likely be slightly higher. I would expect something like 53-55,000 in pure sales and 61-63,000 in total units for Dark Matter.
So far it's looking like it will have a better 2nd week than Gigaton. It's still in the top 5 on Amazon digital and cd/vinyl and top 5 on Itunes top 100 albums

Once again, there is no way they're singing "love hater" on the backing vocals.
