Hopefully someday Imagine in Cornice will be available on Blu-ray."Mostly I think that people react sensitively because they know you’ve got a point"0 -

Any entity or band that was capturing these things in amazing quality at a time where most people were using videotape should get high honours and praise
But they should have had Immagine in Cornice on Blu-ray from day one. And I guess a now rare and highly sought after HD-DVD release. Hehe.
Talking about great quality footage of the band existing, they have a lot of lovely grainy 16mm from 95 also suitable for a 4K (or 2K if they are CHEAP BASTARDS) scan:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-RTz0JNxNEU
And don't forget the concert with Neil in Dublin 1995 shot on 35mm.
And LET'S PLAY TWO being shot in 4K.

Damn, that really makes me want to see PJ release some classic footage in HD or better. That '95 stuff would of been amazing to include in the Vs/Vitalogy boxset. With Let's Play Two, there is a 2160p source out there from a TV aired version, but it has a TV logo on it, and I think it uses that wierd UK version of HDR that most devices don't' support (HLG?), but a 4k bluray would be pretty cool.0

Pearl Jam releasing a 1995 compilation on UHD, with the care and look of Nirvana - Live at the Paramount and Guns N Roses Live at the Ritz.

Watching this now. What a great find!0

Same guy has now posted one of the most memorable shows I've ever seen. Groundwork was a weeklong event, with shows at multiple venues. Joe Strummer played at the EMP Sky Church a couple of days before. There wasn't that many people there. Really intimate show, but with a large arena-size stage
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JV0ro5hc70g
Jeff also praised the show in the PJ Twenty book:
"A couple of months before Joe passed, Mike and I saw him play at the the EMP Sky Church, possibly the worst venue ever built and Joe and the Mescaleros delivered one of the better shows I've ever seen. Better than both times I saw the Clash. Joe said midshow "can somebody turn off the fooking air-conditioning? James Brown couldn't get a set in here. Really sad he's gone"
Too bad I didn't bump into them. I did however watch Joe's set next to Rami Jaffee (now Foo Fighters keyboard player, then with The Wallflowers)225xxx - 6/28/00, 10/20/01, 10/22/01, 9/11/06, 9/22/06, 9/23/06, 6/18/07, 6/26/07, 8/15/09, 6/25/10, 6/30/10, 7/4/12, 7/5/12, 7/7/12, 7/10/12, 6/26/14, 6/28/14, 7/3/18, 7/5/180
