    Trump’s statement recalled the plan he put forward in February for the US to take control of Gaza to allow for its reconstruction as a luxury leisure and business hub.     In Qatar, on the third day of his Middle East tour, Trump said: “I have concepts for Gaza that I think are very good: make it a freedom zone, let the United States get involved and make it just a freedom zone. I’d be proud to have the United States have it, take it, make it a freedom zone.”

    Basem Naim, a senior Hamas official, rejected the idea, saying: “Gaza is an integral part of Palestinian land – it is not real estate for sale on the open market. We remain firmly committed to our land and our national cause, and we are prepared to make every sacrifice to preserve our homeland and secure our people’s future.”

    There had been widespread hopes that Trump’s regional visit could lead to a new pause in hostilities or a renewal of humanitarian aid to Gaza, where a tight Israeli blockade is now in its third month.

    I wonder if the folks who witnessed the beginning of the holocaust said to themselves, “it’s only 80, 800, 8,000 or 52,000 and it’s nothing to be concerned with. There’s plenty around?” I get it, you can’t draw a single comparison.

    Yes that is a correct point but the bigger point is this is a war and both sides are wrong.

    If you wanted to discuss genocide, accounting for World War II is only a tiny fraction of the crimes against the Jewish people.

    As I say often on this forum, there'd be 150 million Jews living in that region right now had there never been victims of genocide and this entire conversation would be moot because there would be no such thing as Palestine.

     that world doesn't exist but we do see every day the results of genocide when we look at the Middle East every single time we look and see one of the oldest cultures this planet has known reduced to a tiny population

    BREAKING: The Trump administration is working on a plan to permanently relocate up to 1 million Palestinians from the Gaza Strip to Libya, five people with knowledge of the effort told NBC News.

    In exchange for the resettling of Palestinians, the admin. would potentially release to Libya billions of dollars that the U.S. froze more than a decade ago, some of the sources say.

    The plan is has been discussed with Libya’s leadership and no final agreement has been reached.

    TEL AVIV, Israel — Something rare and daring is happening in Gaza.

    Large crowds demonstrated against Hamas for a second day Wednesday, the first major protests in Gaza against the Palestinian militant group since the war with Israel began more than a year ago.

    Eyewitnesses say hundreds swelled to thousands as an anti-war protest in the northern city of Beit Lahia turned into an anti-Hamas protest Tuesday. On Wednesday, thousands more marched down a main street in Beit Lahia.

    "Hamas are terrorists," they chanted, in a video posted online by activists in Gaza. "Out, out, out, Hamas, get out!" NPR spoke to several eyewitnesses who took part in the protests attesting to their veracity.

    The protests come at an inflection point in the war for Hamas and for Palestinian civilians in Gaza, analysts say.

Right or wrong, which I do not have an opinion on, that is what is going to happen. Death is preventable in this instance. Just move. The more activist activities that occur and harm Jews, around the world, the harder they will press.
